first time I saw him....maybe 2 yrs ago. He was great. :rolleyes:liquid todd was cool too. he got a good crowd reaction and his set had me going. However the 2nd time he wasn't that great.

Well Ibiza, was the last album of I bought of his....I am really looking forward to hearing Great Wall. I must say, he has made a few good productions in the last years, but his sets have turned me off. Oakie is what got me into trance, I think he went through some experimental stage, and now he is getting back into mainstream trance.

The man is still a legend, and a good producer. New compilation is coming out soon, we'll see how it goes. However, he has been spending too much time here in US, and his sets are mostly NY house and alternative breaks.

But i haven't listened to his sets in a while. Didn't fit my search for new and fresh tracks. i mean, cmon, how many times can u listen to SStone's Seven Cities. great song, but paul, c'mon! find some new material! He opened the doorway for many tranceaddicts, but he's left his mark as a legend, he doesn't need to do anymore, but the more he does, the more we seem to hate him.

you know...i've got a pretty big collection of oakie sets and i don't have a clue what you mean and the solar stone seven cities thing. in fact i don't think he's played it at all in his state side sets??

this thread is getting boring now. its obvious that all the real tranceaddicts still have some respect for the man left. all the rest of you are just retarded...

honestly, even I haven't really heard much from him lately. Then again, I could just be not paying attention.
