Dancefloor Small-Talk

So seriously, what the am I supposed to say? I think I'm one of the few people on earth who simply do not have the dlightest idea how to break ice under such circumstances. It's not that I'm not communicative, hell, when actually getting to talk to some1, in some nice bar or something, I can go on for hours and wont run out of interesting topics. But when it comes to the odd grab-her-arm-and-say-something things I totally suck. I guess I think and over analyze too much. I'm like evaluating the relvance of each topic I come up with etc. etc.
the best one I could come up with so far was "Hi, well listen, I just suck at this small talk so I'll directly ask you if u wanna go have some drink". Hm...Didn't use it, though...actually said something along the lines of "hm..know how long its open today?" "6 i guess" "youre stayin till the end" "hm..i dont know?" "hm..okay..hehe..hm" then i gave up and turned away.
so wtf is severybody actually talking about? the usual "com often to this place" bull? :eek: |

| you're a trancEaddict for a reason, talk about the flaming music! talk about the dj. buy a drink and find out why she drinks those. have you always lived in the area? where did you move here from and why? favorite dj/song/club/album? all these can lead to a million different things. |

hm you're actually talking about the topics that come up AFTER doing that critical first step. The conversations that take place at the table, not the *dance-floor*. I know it sounds ridiculous but its just this ing first step I have trouble with. Rest runs smoothly most of the time.
But grabbing her arm and asking "if u find this music as awesome as I do" isn't that bad actually...:tongue3 |

in that case, i will say that the dance floor is not for talking, it's for dancing. there is nothing i hate more than some guy trying to hit on me when i just want to dance.
so keep an eye on your target like a stalker and approach her when she takes a break from the dancefloor. |

| yeah that's another point: Due to my exaggerated empathy I feel bad for "disturbing" some1 while dancing. Hehe, weird up me is! Still...first words...brrrr :whip: I know its ing simple but as I say..I think too much :confused: |

| heh..just wait for for a great tune to be playing then grab the chick ..stare at her wild eyed and say " OMFG...I LOVE THIS SONG OMFG OMFG OMFG ..ok..not that much ..but what do u think ?" never tried it though . |
