im also bad at the first part but once you get past that its easy :)
i usually try with talking about the music etc or whatever is playing/ whos djing at the time etc...
only prob with the last rave i went to was that most of the girls liked dnb, and i was a hardcore raver [in thier eyes ;_;] |

I don't get it... what's so difficult about the dance floor? I assume this thread is specifically about talking to members of the opposite sex (which wasn't explicitly stated), but there's still no special process.
In terms of the "I don't want to bother them" crap, the obvious signs you need to look for are (1) is she actually dancing, or just standing around; (2) does she make eye contact; and (3) does she hold it/smile? If you can get all that, then just return the signals and just go say "hi" when there's an opening!
There's nothing special about a club, really, unless you're in a dirty top 40 club where everybody just grinds (in which case, don't even bother to strike up conversation, pickup lines are OK but otherwise it will get you nowhere). In the EDM clubs, just say whatever the hell is on your mind - you must have something on your mind! - if they think you're cute then it doesn't really matter what you start off with. Anything from the old "hey, what's your name" or "I love this track", or even random thumbs-up or hugs can work. |

I always fall back on the trusty bump yer ass into hers then make a funny joke. Of course I have come to accept the fact that every girl hates me so it doesn't matter if I talk to them, bump into them, stare, stalk, or buy drinks....within 10 minutes they hate me :).
ok all girls may not hate me, but it is a good mindset to get over the nerves...if you don't expect very much out of the conversation then it doesn't matter how horrible the conversation is. YOu usually get all nervous when you really really wanna hook up with a chick, then you mess up.
or just walk up...look at her ass and scream out "DAMN!" |

now what about dancing around with girls that you know, yet still not having a clue about what to say? :nervous:
also anyone else finds it impossible to talk in the dancefloor because of the loud music? everyone around seems to talk normally i just shout 'WHAT?' to everything people say. |
