I'm new to trance and I haven't heard many tracks, so I'm looking to start collecting a certain type of Spiritual Trance classics:-
*Moody
*New Agey
*Instrumental
*Spiritual
*Mysterious
*Not acidy
*No vocals
*Not too commercial
*slow
*97 - 2003
*Anything that can put me into a trance...
The only tracks I've liked so far is:-
-Nu Nrg - "Bonsai"
-Killer Eyes - "The Universe"
-Xstasia - "Sweetness" (Katcha Mix)
Can anyone please recommend me some more undisputed classics, like the 3 examples above, that fall into my criteria? I'm looking for a proper classic that you would have on repeat for ages!
I would appreciate any help! Cheers!! |

Thanks for your reply!
Photon Project - Enlightenment
This sounds a bit commercial, and the music that come in at 5:00 sound classical, not spiritual/moody.
Dawnseekers - Gothic Dream
This has proper spiritual sounds that come in at 3:00, but unfortunately are only heard in isolation at that point, and do not mix with the beats, therefore has a bad structure. But nevertheless, it's still a good track.
Still waiting to hear illumination...
What else can anyone recommend?? |

Thanks for your recommendations so far!
Hemstock & Jennings Feat. Adam White - Reverence
Probably the best out of all the ones recommended so far!
Aetherius - Warriors Charge
Not that bad. Very nice drums, a little bit mysterious with some tribal type sounds, but can be boring in places.
Photon Project - Illumination
This track tries to be moody, but it sounds too classical and commercial.
Shpongle - DMT (Original Mix)
Sounds like a good tune in the backgroud, but the vocals completely let it down. I notice that Shpongle likes to use the human voice as an instrument in most of his tracks.
Dawnseekers - Shaman's Wake Up
It just has, what seems like, plain drums throughout. And at one point it has some man making weird noises.
Moshic - Trilock
Unreleased...
Still waiting to get Dave Seaman track...
To give a better example of what I like, please checkout these 3 samples I've uploaded (200K each):-
DOWNLOAD Killer Eyes - "The Universe"... (mysterious!)
DOWNLOAD Xstasia - "Sweetness (Katcha Mix)"... (uplifting!)
DOWNLOAD Nu Nrg - "Bonsai"... (instrumental - flute!)
I'm still very interested to see what other classics, different people from around the globe can recommend.
Who can please recommend a better track than those 3?
Thanks |

I think those criteria you have posted are kind of misleading compared to the tracks you said that you liked (i.e. how are Nu NRG - Bonsai and H&J - Reverence slow tracks?). Judging by the tracks you mentioned, you obviously want trance with some "exotic" influences. So,you can try these:
Orkidea - Unity
DJ Sakin & Friends - Protect Your Mind (Lange Mix)
The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing (maybe a tad too acidic)
Carlos - The Silmarilla
Sauna - Mirage
The Auranaut - Yo Yo |
