WINGS all the way, baby. They've always been good at surprising comebacks after a not-too-spectacular season. Oh yeah, and for the sake of my significant other...GO DEVILS!

Well I know it won't be the Penguins so I think it would be nice to see the Flyers win it all this year. They're long overdue in Philly. (and yes I know I have a devils icon but I can let it slide if they don't make it this year)

well duh.. if you read my other recent post my #1 pick has to be Wings also
:D
If they can't make it I gotta' assume it'll be Colorado, but my 2nd (personal) fave from West would have to be 'couver. East it has to be Ottawa.

Just picked up the EA nhl '04 game and can't wait to go through a season with the wings though. Probably will do the dynasty mode too and do all in my power to grab all the players I possibly can from Colorado and totally destroying them.

I'm cheering for the Capitals and Flames!

GO AVS!!!!
infinity HiGH
Wings? haha...ya, just like last season right? hahaha

I think the Sens are finally gonna do somethin this year. They deserve it....holy , I can't believe I just said that.

GO LEAFS GO!!

In the east: New Jersey -or- Ottawa
In the west: Vancouver -or- Colorado

If Colorado can find a quality goalie before the season starts they will be the Stanley Cup champions. With the aquisitions of Kariya and Selanne, and the loss of no significant players except Patrick Roy... you have yourself the L.A. Lakers of Hockey.

Well...when the Wings throw Cujo to the dogs this may be the Avalanche's best hope. Of course the price tag is stiff (2 years remaining 16 million dollars), thus they may not pick him up unless the wings help pay for his contract. He certainly isn't the best goalie in the league...but he'll be the best available considering who they have. Other notables they may trade for would be someone like Khabibulin.

All and all...both Colorado, and for that matter Vancouver need a proven goaltender (unless Cloutier can become consistent) to contend for the division.

I agree about the talent of Colorado...and a "good enough" goalie should do the trick...if you can score 4+ a game...you don't need a goalie with a 1.5 GAA.
