| i listen to trance and hip hop and i dont feel like fighting with anyone right now on the fact i listen to alot of hip hop so just let it slide for today or open another thread where we had this discussion and see why i listen to alot of hip hop |

| theres nothing wrong with hip hop, personally, i listen to trance and rock, and the hip hop that i do like are from artists like the roots, outkasts and talib kwali, |

| yes i know but the problem is ppl dont understand the music..they hear like a few tracks on the radio where they rap about guns hoes and money and they judge a whole genre just on that....they dont understand that alot of mc's out there are very talented and are poets..they release a cd maybe put 2 or three tracks on it thatll become hits just to sell their albums and the rest of their album is all poetic and very well written songs...not every mc is like this tho u do have mcs that go out there and try to make everyone of their songs a hit and therefore their albums have no substance whatsoever...but its the same with trance or anyother genre u got to weed thru the to find the gold |

True. Personally I loathe hip hop, R&b, rap etc.... Main reason is I can't relate to any of it. |

ditto...cept for the country part.
Different kinds of electronica (house, breaks, ambient, down-temp, old trance [96-2000 stuff mainly]) and some alternative/metal (A Perfect Circle, Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead) are my fav's.
I like some hip hop too, but I'm really picky about it. Right now the hip hop tune i got on repeat is Delinquent Habits - House of the Rising Drums. |

| i'd say i listen to trance about 90% of the time...the rest would be a mix of house, happy hardcore :D, DnB, classic rock, euro, ect... |

as for my musical tastes...i love my trance and house (classic, deep vocal, progressive, and garage...I LOVE IT ALL...classic takes the cake for me tho)adn im not even going to mention anything else lest i get flamed, insulted and totally pulverized :toothless |

| I like oldies! i ussualy dont go out of my way to go download or even buy a track, but if its on the radio or something i'll always enjoy it. stuff like queen, pet shop boys, guns n roses, and even "malesto" michael jackson i really enjoy. that stuff just has a good sound, period! you can't compare someone like queen to the 100% mainstream garbage played today. Makes me sick! oh and i also like classic euro from the Real Mccoy days! |

Trance is by far # 1 on my list but I like Uk Hardhouse, progressive breaks and little bit of techno for good measure.

I can listen to trance 24/7... and I usually do.. But I love everything... The only things that I hate are country, rap, and pop:wtf:
My top choices tho go from trance to: jungle, breaks, progressive, hardcore(not happy hardcore), speedcore, techno, alternative and so on.. |
