i listen to most genres of music. electronic and alternative rock dominate my playlist. My collection is mainly jungle, trance and house (although i have more jungle than trance/house now) but i appreciate almost all the electronic genres and subgenres, whatever is good. And yes, Massive Attack is awseme! HMV had a sale on all MA albums for like $5 ea and I stocked up :D
as for alternative rock, I am absolutely in love with Evanescence! Not so much for the literal meaning of the lyrics (some are really ridiculous "my god, my tourniquet :rolleyes: ) but Amy Lee has a gorgeous voice!!! Same with Andain (i categorize it as alternative rock, except for beautiful things)...of course i still love the groups i grew up listening to...Radiohead, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.
I also like classical music, in fact some of my fav songs are classically influenced. but i dont listen to it very much. hip hop i usually stear clear of. the more underground hip hop is very good but i dont get to listen to it very much. |

For me it's wither Nine Inch Nails, or trance.
I'll listen to other stuff, but only about 2% of the time.
I promote trance so much, that's all we play at work now, my boss loves it, says it "keeps her moving".
I always get a good laugh out of her "moving" as she fondly calls it.

| I'm into various genres. My main faves have always been Jungle/DnB and Trance. I am also into Prog/Tribal and only recently breaks :D. As for other forms of music, i used to listen to nothing but hip hop before electronic music, so i tend to go back and listen to the good ol' songs that bring back memories :), i also tend to listen to some acid jazz stuff, and some italian songs (if they're nice) :P |

i only listen to electronic right now just cuz theres no time to listen to everything, but i do enjoy alot of other genres, ..nirvanna, offspring, some older stuff and i really got into eminem about a year ago
oh and pink floyd owns, possibly the greatest musicians ever for me |

in contrast to what alot ppl think, rappers like eminem and 50 cent are real good, its just as vivid said, they have to release songs to get the ppl in it, eminems style of rap is by far one the best i have seen,
and trip hop is sooooo chillin, |

I used to be all obsessed with classic rock....but i mean ACTUAL classic rock like Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead, Big Brother and the Holding Company, the Yardbirds.....stuff like that.
But NOW i'm completely addicted to trance, and if i do listen to classic rock, its only for a little bit.......its weird..... |
