Well, I listen to trance 99.5673454% of the time :)
or I should say enjoy listening to music (specifically trance)...
The thing I gotta say is that most music these days sucks ass (but dont flame me, this is my opinion)....
I used to listen to hiphop and r&b, mostly 2pac back in the day, now he had some good lyrics, and some "underground" hiphop artists are amazing....
but most of the mainstream music just sucks ass, the lyrics are just meaningless or about sex....
I still listen to other types of music sometimes though like U2, REM, Pearl Jam, Massive Attack, Portishead....its nice to have change
and ofcourse other electronic music genres mostly house and breaks |

Yes, I only listen to trance now... I used to be into the whole pop/punk genre like NFG/Blink 182/Good Charlotte, and some rock like Disturbed, Linkin Park (I CAN'T STAND THEM NOW!), or Sevendust, but now I can barely listen to that stuff anymore. I have a 380 track playlist on winamp with everything I listen to, I'm just too lazy to get rid of the rock. I have a keyboard with the media controls so I just hit the next button until some trance comes on :D |

i know that feeling all too well. My crowds at frat parties are always smaller than the hip hop/rap twit, but i dont care.
I'd say i listen to trance 80% of the time. |

Myself... I mostly listen to the various forms of Underground music whether it's Trance, Tribal breaks or Progressive...but this is largely because of my DJing where one must stay on top of all the new releases etc etc. However I love many forms of music including lounge, jazz, brit-alternative and meaningful MC work has just as much validity. THe problem is radio...it's the lowest common denominator. No wonder the "singles" made for this format are utter e when you have to cater to the confused masses ...most of which still think Barbie Girl is a kickin club tune. I've long since said radio is for people who don't like music. THe only reason people "like" the pop radio crap is because they've never looked for true music that speaks to them and after hearing Justin or Christina or...say...Nickelback 20 times an hour it basically becomes an old fashio case of brain washing. I love tracks and bands etc that no one has heard of that I through whatever means have discovered and there is that sense that the music is very personal and vibrant...not prostituted by the FM dial

| Other than Trance I like Techno, Some House, UK HARDHOUSE (me runner up to Trance) and just about anything tasteful that does not have some guy yelling out 4 letter words into a mic :) |
