Yeah, the only thing I like integrated with a motherboard is ethernet, USB 1 & 1.1, & Bluetooth.
Everything else you should be able to upgrade and add yourself. Don't kid yourself about pricing a complete computer, it will run you into the $1000s. It more of the fact that you built it yourself, and like whiskers says, you can upgrade later yourself.
egg is a great place to shop, and so is price watch
I got my open sided case with neon lighting, five fans with LEDs, and sound senstive lights. It's like a light show when I play music or games. It's stuff like that, that make building your own computer fun.

A workstation like that should be using a professional graphics card, not a Radeon. While the Radeon is a nice card it is still a consumer level card.
Looks like another attempt to make a windows machine look like an SGI.

Definately does make it fun. I've got cold cathode fans & lights, UV sensative round IDE cables, UV sensative fans plus a side window on my case and a thermal readout on the front. My case front has a motorized door that moves up and down to cover the drive bays too. :D Fun stuff! |

so basically it is an Intel P4EE, overclocked (wow, bus speed of 950 instead of 800.. i've seen a SFF do 1025) with lots of RAM, which hosts the OS. 'wow' I am so impressed :rolleyes |
