Plese please, your obvisouly clueless, yes the other Fifa's sucked, but Fifa 2004 is OWNAGE, it ownz any PES or WE series ever, thats not even a comparison.
Fifa 2004 was totally rewritten, and its amazing.
The gameplay, the graphics everything changed for good, and the game is as realistic as it gets.
Nothing comes comes to Fifa 2004 as far as stimulation goes, and thats a fact.
I think I know what the problem is, I think you just get your ass kicked all over so you get frustrated. |

No man, lol PES is a horrible game, yes it got an OK gameplay, but in imaginary names and competitions ?? that.
Fifa 2004, is a huge, massive improvment over any other Fifas, and it surely gonna kick WE and PES ass.
Fifa 2004 gives you the control you want, everything you wanna control you can, everything is alot more free, corners, freekicks and what not, I love this game and I cant wait for the final product.
Bottom line is gameplay in Fifa 2004 tops PES and WE in every single way, yes PES and WE had it over Fifa last years, but now Fifa 2004 is the new dominator. |

I played the demo, yea, and Fifa 2004 kicks the out of it ... not to mention it kicks some more out of WE.
I also used to hate Fifa because of its bull gameplay, but this (2004) is amazing, totally realistic, excellent moves, tons of new moves, great features like OTB ... and I could go on and on, ohh yea the AI are as realistic as it gets on PRO and WC levels.
I cant wait for the final game, Ill buy it so I can play online against other dudes. |

Ill believe it when i see it.
But stop saying pro evolution is when it isnt. The gameplay in 2 is VERY close to being more or less perfect, it has the best free kick and corner system, best ai easily, u cant just dribble the length of the pitch with the keeper (or anyone else) and score like fifa, theres no spots in the penalty area where u can just score a goal every time from, theres pretty good collision detection, the ball physics r amazing, its far (realisticly) harder to play than fifa etc
So even if fifa 2004 is the absolute paragon of football games and is perfectly 100% realistic, it still cant be that much better than pro evolution 2. I mean, everything uv said about fifa 04, good free kick system, good ai etc, pro evolution 2 already has all that. So what makes it better? apart from the real names etc which doesnt matter anyway if u truely love football. |

Im sorry man, but you dont know what you are talking, Fifa 2004 is NOTHING like previous Fifa's, it has been completley rewritten.
It has by far the best AI, corner, freekick, penalty & passing system ever, PES doesnt even come close, and Im not even gonna argue anymore, this is pointless, you dont like Fifa 2004 , I love it, so its all good. |

Sounds like ur the 1 who doesnt know what hes talking about. Or ur deliberately being stupid/awkward.
Answer my question. In order for fifas passing/corner/ai/whatever systems to be (much, as u say) better than pro evolutions, there must be something wrong with pro evolutions. So whats wrong with it? And how does fifa put it right? Thats what im asking. |

Always wanted a Fifa vs Pes discussion - not that there really is an argument.
Pro Evolution Soccer (which is also known as Winning Eleven in Japan) is hands down the best soccer series out there. There is no comparison - it is miles ahead of the competition. It beats Fifa in every department and about the only thing EA had going for it was the authentic names. All cash, but no flash if you ask me.
Its simple really. If you play soccer/football regularly on organised semi professional teams then you will like PES better. If you are a casual supporter/couch potato with little ball skills , the wham-bam action of Fifa will appeal to you. And someone here just mentioned how they won on pro mode in their first game 5-4. That just proves my point. Winning your first game on hard mode in PES is unheard of - let alone with that scoreline.
The only reason why Fifa 2004 may be good (I have yet to try it but I heard how Fifa 2003 "owned" when it first came out) is because EA is trying to make it more like Konami's games. Face it. Everything that EA claimed was "evolutionary" in Fifa 2003 was already done by Konami ages ago. And you can't really credit EA for any piece of ingenuity. After Fifa 97, 98, WC 98, 99, 2000, Euro 2000, 2001, 2002, WC 2002, 2003 (10 games!!!) they are finally STEPPING in the right direction.
And this is coming from a previous die hard Fifa fan who got disgruntled at EA after Fifa 99. Fifa 96 was a classic - everything after that went downhill. EA sports can keep it "in the game" but when PES comes out on the PC this Novemeber I know where my money is going. |

Like I said before, PES was alot better then the previous Fifa's, but Fifa 2004 is by far alot better then PES, PES looks like a silly budget games vs Fifa 2004, Fifa 2004 is alot more realistic, got alot more moves then PES will ever have, it has better AI, alot better gameplay and not to mention realistic graphics, unlike PES.
Fifa 2004 is by far the best soccer game to ever come out, PES got nothing on it. |
