Pro Evolution Soccer 3, is the daddy :D
s all over any little kids fifa game!
fifas are always the usual decent graphics jobs, and the players looking exactly how they are, but the actualy gameplay is dire, so many holes in the game, once you've figured out how to score once, you can do it all the time, you can score the same type of goal every time, and it gets a bit boring beating everyone 6-0 on world class.
Pro evo is quite different, the graphics are a good standard, and the sheer deptch of gameplay make it what it is, pro evo 1,2,3 are the only games I now own on my playstation, because they are all I ever need. Been playing my master league on pro evo 2 for nearly a year, and not once has it bored me, as there is always a new challenge, it's extremely difficult to give a team a 6-0 beating on 5 stars, and it's far more fulfilling when you do it, as there is no easy way to score, there are some goals which you score more often than others, but the computer adapts to your style.
plus PES is the footbllers game, saw a program a few weeks back with robert pires and thierry henry playing it :D
as for those screenshots as well, whats wrong with the players being like that, you never notice it when englufed in a game.
and for the record theres 2 guys in the fifa screenshot with identical poses, just facing different ways :stongue: |

Az in Fifa 2004 you wont beat the CPU 6-0 at pro or world class, you'll get destroyed 6-0 most likley.
But whatever, Fifa 2004 is the BEST soccer stimulation game out there right now, PES 3 is the ok cartoon like arcade soccer game, for the little kids who dont understand nothing in that sport.
EA did an amazing job, all the past Fifas were junk, this one is THE ONE, PES 3 doesnt even come close, when today I played the PES 3 demo again, I laugh so hard at how pathetic it is next to Fifa 2004 its crazy, but whatever, all the real soccer fans know that Fifa 2004 is THE ONLY soccer game out there. |

Well you must be blind then, hahah because there isnt such picture, that just shows that you will say anything to defend your PES 3, so a little advice ... get over the fact that Fifa 2004 pisses all over PES 3 and take out konamis dick outta your ass (just like "faq" should do).
As for T. Henry and R. Pires playing it, it was just for the money, they got paid to do it (sorry to bust your bubble).

Do u know what 'stimulation' means?
Anyway, what u dont seem to realise is that fifa doesnt even TRY to be a simulation. Its made to be an arcade game. During an interview someone from ea sports was asked something like what he thinks the difference in pes and fifa is and he said "pro evolution soccer is a simulation, and some people dont like that". Which is why they dont even TRY TO MAKE IT A SIM. Get that into ur brain cell.

Where did u get that from? All the real football fans know that pro evolution is the only good football game series.

Konami do have a fifpro license, and most of the players in the game r real.

Id rather play a game that plays like real football and the ai doesnt have to cheat like to win. |

In Fifa 2004 they dont cheat anymore, actually they play very intelligently, attacking from allover, center, wings and take long shots.
As for T. Henry, he was working WITH EA on Fifa 2004, he was in the studio and they computorized his moves and everything else, same goes for other superstars like Del Piero, Davids, Ronaldhino and such. |

And on a side note, all the real football fans, who understand and follow the sport know that Fifa 2004 is the only and the best soccer game ever made, PES was good back then .. but since Fifa 2004 came out, PES is nothing but an obsolete piece of old school junk. |

How do you feel about the success of the Pro Evolution games?
Isaac: We think we've got a product to compare with Pro Evolution 3. Everyone else is asking "aren't you concerned, aren't you concerned?" but we outsell Pro Evolution three to one, so we've definitely got a market.
Pro Evo is obviously a good game, but it is much more simulation based, and some people don't like that.
But, of course the real fans do, dont they? :haha:
Now, am i still lying? Do u admit fifa isnt a sim?

I watched a video interview with one of the MAIN guys at EA, and he said that Fifa 2004 is much more realistic and alot more of a stimulation then the previous Fifa's, and will be a fair comparison to PES.
Alot of people who played Fifa 2004 (but used to play PES) said that Fifa 2004 got alot better then the previous ones and beat PES by a mile.
BTW, the interview is dated as Tuesday 22nd July 2003, which is pretty old, the videos I watched from the official site and other sites are so much more recent (some are even 1 week old).
But I guess you live in your little imaginary world with the "master league" (:stongue: ), so whatever man, this is so pointless now, but you and the other fanboys have to face it that PES is history, now Fifa 2004 is in total control of the soccer gaming industry.
I'll go tommorow to the mall to play PES a little more and laugh at how pathetic it is compared to Fifa 2004. |

So if they were doing a complete rewrite they wouldve had that started long before that interview

I might buy or more likely download fifa 2004 just out of curiosity. But i cant see it being as good as pes3 |
