| You guys are too funny...besides whats wrong with PVD being in a Motorolla commercial -- "Hello moto" and Tiesto in a coke commercieal? Big deal..they are superstars and everyone knows that. I honestly don't see the problem, why should they "stay underground" as so many ppl want...besides i don't find Tiesto playing anything commercial...if anything some ginos hear his stuff and try to play it on z103 which then turns into BS...but i firmly stand that these guys are superstars and as such i don't see anything wrong with the fact they are in commercials and endorsements...I'm not a big basketball fan but i'm sure that every kid playing on the street "underground" eventually wants to make it big rather than play "on the street"...makes sense no? If you only like the artist because you think unerground is too cool and you want to be different then its the wrong reason for liking them...:) Just my opinion...but hey Umek's cool i havent heard him live but he got a lot of attention so that's good stuff |

Thanks for the Tiesto support people (even though is remix of Gatex is crap!) I sure got flamed for my comment on Umek....but what do I care? His tracks are ...especially Gatex. Sorry, but I just hate that style of music.
It IS cool to bash Tiesto, just as it's still cool to bash Oakenfold. I have to admit, I do get on Oakie's ass about stuff, but he produced a track with a ing rapper!! Tiesto might sign some endorsements, but so far, he has stayed true to the club scene and still has the skills. If he produces with Eminem, then I'd have something to bitch about.
Traffic is a good track too....I guarantee if it had been released under an alias and nobody knew it was Tiesto, then more people would like it. ATRC, on the other hand, I do not care for. |

Seriously, stop talking out of your ass already. Fair enough that you don't like him, or techno, but that gives you even less of a basis to say it's , since you don't even listen to it.
Did you know Tiesto started off as a techno DJ? He may play trance primarily these days, but he still respects other genres. Take a lesson from your hero and do the same. |
