You keep unsuccessfully avoiding my question though. Honestly, how much of his studio work have you honestly listened to to be able to make that judgement?
and why can you flame Umek but I can't flame tiesto?
Say you don't like the track, but if you don't even listen to him at all, don't say the rest of his stuff is garbage. That's like me saying I don't like Ferry Corsten because his remix of Adagio for strings was the worst track ever made.
I swear, I could have ignored your disdain for Umek if you weren't so confrontational and offensive when you post. |

And for your information, many of Umek's productions are not singles, but more like tracks to mix into other songs. This is the same with most techno deejays, because it's the set, mixing and tweaking that makes techno good, not necisarily the singles.
But you wouldn't know anything about now would you? All Tiesto does is just play with the volume control a bit, and fade songs in and out.

First of all, I'm not the only person here who bitches about all the trance bashing, even though this site is TRANCEaddict.com and second...a lot of people here bash Tiesto, especially those who don't like trance. How many times have I seen "Tiesto is a whore...techno is where it's at"...."Trance is so gay...prog is the ."....I can go on and on. Since almost everyone on here is negative and talks about just about everyone, why can't I join in? It's the "thing to do" here it seems.:rolleyes:
You can justify how Umek is great, but bottom line is...I don't really care...and I don't like his stuff.
