Hello gang, just a heads up that Marsh will be covering VW-related TA inquiries from now on as my term at VW is up and I am taking the first time off I've had since I landed in this crazy country exactly four years ago!
It's been a great run and great to meet so many TA's thru the shop. Brian, the man I've trained as my replacement (he ran the biggest DJ shop in Perth for 8 years before we picked him up) should take great care of you in the shop while Jules and Marsh do the dirty work out back. :)
In other VW news, there's another shipment of those $849 Denon DNS3000s coming in in approximately a weeks' time, so if you've been eyeing a CDJ800 put your wallet away for another week as these bad boys kill it. (no soups you're not allowed to sell your second turntable!) :p
Also the rumoured Armin in-store won't be going ahead, unfortunately. He rang me last night to say their plans had changed and that they're off to *insert undisclosed nice beachy part of oz here* until their show next weekend, so our only option for catching up was yesterday evening, when the shop was closed. |

thanks for the kind words soupy. i've told brian he's only allowed to sell you a second denon if you sign an agreement that you'll keep both turntables for 12 months. ;) |

| Echoing Soups comments, good luck in the future Matt. Thanks for the excellent help during my (and I'm sure many others) initial frenzy of buying copious amounts of records, you're a top bloke with an immense knowledge of tunes and I'm sure you'll be able to utilise this somewhere great. :D |

I just stepped in Vinyl Warning for the first time a couple days ago. What a wikkid wikkid store for everything a DJ needs :D Walked out with $100 in vinyls.. but could've sooooo easily dropped more! :eek:
The selection is one of the best I've seen! This includes Canada's tyass record shops. Their distributors only come from the USA, and we all know they don't have the greatest taste in trance! But I'm gonna be heading back in there, AGAIN, today, yep, onyl this time I'm searching through the database of what's not on the shelf... but in the oh so mysterious backroom. , I'm gonna spend another $100+ again today, this blows...
On a side note... VW is the cheapest store I've come across to date. One more reason for me to want to move to Melbourne ;) |
