To the thread starter, why is Jon Armin Van Junior? |

I think Jon plays A LOT more proggy at the start of his sets then Armin does. Big differences to me.

| Both Armin and Jon are overrated imo. |

in the words of a certain Mr. John "00" fleming :-
"Jon O'bir is another DJ that is currently proving himself at Gods Kitchen. Again being professional at the job in hand, he has become a firm favourite with us guest DJ's that visit the club. Jon will certainly go places." |

The point of my statemet was that I didnt want someone to read what I wrote and freak out, cuz I was making a statement against their beloved armin. (i.e. some of the other dj whores on this board) |

I wonder if he produced that in his bedroom.. what else can he have been producing there :haha: (this only makes sense if you heard the interview at the end of his set on Fergies show). :stongue: |
i read on his webpage that he made airflow with robert nickson and 2 other people in 4 hours. he said that was his first production |

Agreed there
get off his ing back, he's only been mixing a couple of years, I'm sure Armin was told he played like .... when he was younger. Fact is the regs at gods love him, lots of others over the world do too already, and this man is goin places, I'd rather have a guy like Jon who's a nice guy & good than the arrogant twats like judge jules and dave pearce et al who do all for the people. If you don't like jon, don't listen to his sets or don't go see him, don't slate the man for it, it's just pathetic |

| Jon is ultra talented both as a DJ and a producer. Airflow is a great track especially for it being his first piece of music. Jon = Armin: Meh! |

| Yes, Jon does mimick Armin's trackselection somewhat, Armin is after all Jon's fav DJ. But cut him some slack here ppl, he's just starting up. Give him a few years to develop his sound, and he'll be one of the best djs around. Don't be mad if he decides to play progressive instead of trance though;) |
