| whoa, i'm on day 3, i just woke up and i'm not feeling hungry at all... yes, ketones supress the feeling of hunger. nausea's also gone, you just have to get more sleep. i'm planning on going through with this today, then having an apple tomorrow morning, some soup at lunch, a sandwich 2 hours later and halloween ninjar pastar for dinnar :D |

| I'm think'n about doing this. I have a good amount of beef (fat) What will this process do to the beef. Dont you just gain it all back afterwards. Even with water. |

hmm this seems a bit extreem..
i have to fast for ramadan now, for 1 whole month, means i may not drink, smoke or eat from sunrise, till dawn..and to be honnest, i feel very weak at the end of the day, because i hadn't 1 single thing in my mouth.
Now i know not eating, is a way to loose wight, but i doubt its good for your health..
You say for 5 days, you may only drink water and eat apples..
Now please explain me how that is good for your health?
ITS GOOD FOR WEIGHT but not health, i seriously doubt it
A human body need 2 liter of water a day, 2 fruits a day, some veggies, i remember 6 slices of bread a day, and 3 times a week a meat meal.
Thats the way to stay healthy, and also loose wight and also keep your weight on balance..
It's simple apples do not supply enough Vitamins that the body needs everyday..
So i can not understand that this is a healthy way, i do understand that it is a extreem way of loosing fast weight...
I would also like to say , that this is possible, because a human can survive without food for 7 days and 1 day without water.. |

hehe so innocent :) you feel like for the first day or so because your MIND is used to getting food plus the toxin ready-for-export thing that is happening.. I dont think you udnerstand the latent energy within fat. You dont NEED food. a 40 day fast can do amazing things for you. That long takes a lot of preparation though. a 7-10 day fast lets you build up immunity, repairs cuts and wounds almost instantly, lowers fat %, gets rid of your dependency on sugars, fats, and carbs, and helps you get your body back to a natural** homeostasis.
You lose 1lb a day while fasting, and after that, if you eat like again, youll probably get most of it back. The side effect of fasting is that you tend to eat well after it because your body knows what it is needing, and a nice juicy apple and a green salad sound SOOO good. The thought of a hamburger will make you nauseous.
Plus, what definition of health are you using?

The only way to can clens your system out is:
1. Don't drink any alcohol.
2. Don't smoke or be around smoking.
3. Eat healthy. None of this fasting stuff.
4. Excercise on a regular basis(4 times a week or more). Getting heart rate up for at least 30 minutes.
5. Doing all this on a regular basis for a long time, will keep and continue to detox your body. You will first start to see the results after 2 and a half weeks.

guess what, i do all of those and it doesn't do for me... well, maybe i don't *always* eat healthy, but still.

You are even saying that water pures the body.. and what is really suprising to me, that people respond in WOW really?
WELL OF COURCE DUH!!!
So even if you drink and eat, your body stays pure, because you are drinking!
Water is blood, blood is transportation, when you pee, you pee water with stuff that your body don't need, and those stuff get collected by blood, that goes through the organs..
LOL at immunity, thats the funniest thing i heard..
BTW einstein, why do you think pregnant moms eat so much..because the baby needs food, it doesn't eat every 4 days :rolleyes:

because your body has to regnerate it self every milli second..
when you typed this msg, you lost million of skin cells, and your body has to remake them, when you move your fingers(for typing) the blood goes to your finger musceles to supply the recources it need, so they can move, and you know blood cells die as well.
My analogy fits, baby's need to eat to grow, than after beeing fully grown, you have to eat to stay allive..
you eat much, you get fat, you eat normal, wont happen anything to you, you eat nothing..go try |

I am on a 'diet' right now too :/
Carbs, water, fruits, juice mostly/ excusively till sunday..
*waits for all flames on how a high-carb diet is aweful and will make me fat and die*
i just cannot wait till sunday after the marathon. i think the first thing i will want is a vodka-martini :D |
