I disagree.. it merely reveals that he doesn't like the music, a close minded or "stereotypical person" would have listened to about two seconds of it before denouncing it as utter ... at least he gave it a chance.. |

yes, that's what i said, and i asked that someone would explain to me what they find attractive in terrorcore / power noise. i am NOT closed-minded at all, in fact i am extremely opposed to judging people and because i hate doing it to others, i hate when others do it to me too.
what i meant was that *i* wouldn't be able to listen to such 'music' for a long period of time unless *i* was on drugs and it's unfortunate that you misinterpreted it
i did watch the 3 videos and i was intimidated... i didn't dislike it, but i can't say i liked the music either. if it had more structure to it, maybe. and to be honest, i was rather disappointed to see merzbow sit at his computer and put random sound filters over the same 5-second wave sample with A STONE FACE. i mean, music is supposed to invoke emotion, right? |

that was a joke. black noise will actually put u to sleep... ok, the thing is people tend to categorize everything. just like u classify different trance sub-genres, so noiseheads label different types of noise with different names. except u can't describe noise as hard, melodic, progressive or whatever. therefore it is categorized according to predominant resonant frequences and also according to they way they are transmitted. this is more of a physical thing than musical. see here for further info. |

heh, noise colors, i like white noise, it's relaxing...
this actually makes me wanna go do some research on low-frequency noises; i've read somewhere that there are some extremely low-freq sounds that affect our heartbeat or something... psychoactive sounds :nervous: |
