Agreed :) Earplugs rock it SO hard :) Sound is really clear, it's easier to hear people talk, and you don't damage your hearing :)

u can get $$$$ ones that they use for gun ranges and stuff. They hav teeny weeny batteries in em. Theyre the same size as normal ear plugs and theyre soft coated n stuff

and they come in different colours for the hardcores.

I had planned to go but decided to take a rest after an exhausting and nerve-wracking week. I managed to make around $2000 this week... and no, not on the Melbourne Cup... the glitz and glamour doesn't help bring in the $$. Go the Golden Ox! (http://66.218.71.150/q?s=OXR.AX&d=c...m&l=off&z=l&q=c)

Have you guys heard the original version of this track, it's a very nice rave classic from 1994. It's a good example of the old happy hardcore sounds. I managed to find the single in a music shop in Prahran Melbourne when I was down there for Two Tribes this year.

Matt Darey is more known for being a producer/remixer. We don't hear much of him as a DJ. Does he fit in at all with the league of Ferry, Armin, Van Dyk etc? A great producer may not necesarily make an excellent DJ.

How was Jumping Jack, what did he play?

I'm going to make a new thread about this because I have a few things to say.

I should definitely get earplugs then, I need to protect my hearing because I'm already half deaf in 1 ear (not from clubbing). Reason I havent tried using them is because I figured I would not be able to hear people talk (already can only hear people if they talk in my right ear).

Any tips on where to get them and what type etc?

Good to hear the sound system will be better in the future

Definitely was louder, if you stood next to those speakers you whole body would vibrate

Great to hear you're onto Plugging :) Seriously, think it enhances my night, as I can hear things clearer, and talk/listen to people easier as well.

Chemists are the place to get them from. There's like 100 different brands you can get[ranging from 90 cents to $200+ customised]. I've tried about 6, and keep going back to the 90 cent yellow pair, they're the schnitz for me. I suggest you try a few different pairs over a few weeks and pick the pair you like.

My average is about 1 person a week that starts plugging after I give them my spare pair ;) I spend $2 a week on ear plugs, and man, every night I'm so thankful. I really can't stand being in a club without them, sounds awful.

Cam Good stuff!

JJ started with Solid Globe - North Pole, from there he picked it up till it would of ended a tad short of what you'd expect from subbies. I think he played harder as he was closing the night. If he played the set, with Liquid M afterwards he'd of kept it much softer I'd say.

Matt Darey was good, not as good as the 3 dutch men tho. Track selection, mixing and crowd interaction were just under.

Sorry to disappoint you but Matt Darey was perfect all round, mixing, track selection and crowd control...

Same par quality with Armin...better even.
