Ya, well, when all arguments fail, maybe ad hominem attacks will work? Bravo! *clap clap clap*
Perhaps if you had a bit more Taurine in your diet as a child, you'd be able to make a better statement. |
you moron
"For the breastfed baby, there is no concern of Taurine deficiency. This is because breastmilk contains an ample supply of Taurine"
I, as well as most other people have had no problem as a result.
Ok think for one minute. Vegans breast feed their babies. Just because you find one freak example doesn't mean this holds true to anyone else. The point of veganism is that you don't want to support imprising and abusing animals to take their milk. As so vegans still breast feed. Got it? good I thought so
and its true that females are born more commonly, but this does not in ANY way take away from my argument. I am not still pretty much wrong. Males still die as a result of keeping the females. So tell me how is that wrong?
And you definitelly don't need supplements to live and be a healthy vegan or vegetarian. I take none and according to my doctor am in peak physical shape.
when I said meanly as you do that was a type o. I meant to seimply say that in your books its ok to commit mass murder but not to treat them meanly.
And you still havent shown in any way how eating meat is necessary.
I still don't see how us conquering the planet makes us more worthy? especially not if you think about how we are quite likelly to also be the doom for this planet. |

You should take some just incase, but especially B12 since B12 deficiency can lead to permanent nerve damage.

No, even though much biodiversity is being destroyed by man, this will lead to the eventual extinction of man, and then the Earth will heal itself in time. The fact that you'd go see a doctor in an attempt to extend your own life makes you a willing participant in this same practice (same as I or most any other inhabitant of the industrialized world). ;) |

I know and I generally try not to, but this argument is something I feel very strongly about and its really annoying arguing with someone who really is just not getting it at all. And the point isn't that he's not agreeing with me its that his arguments just don't really make sense.

I actually get large amounts of it from fortified cereal. Its loaded with the stuff :)

I agree that we will destroy the planet and afterwards it will probably eventually heal itself. However this is not to excuse the humans actions. And as I live here I am responcible. However I do do work with environmental organizations, and don't consume very much. I make a very conscious effort not only to enact change but also to live in a very non wasteful manner. As so I feel I can justify my consumption and not feel so bad about living here. |

This way of adressing people tells more about you than about me.

Brain development doesn't stop when breastfeeding stops. The brain usually develops well into adolescence. And first 2-3 years are vital. So unless you keep suckling until that age, it would have been wise of your parents to give you some meat when you were young.

Well, 1 bull in 30 cows is really not that much of a problem for any farmer to keep. Besides, it's better to have your own bull that impregnates cows than to pay someone. Infact the ratio of male to female farm animals is pretty much optimal for farms. Fewer males would cause problems because of their unavailability. More males would be unecessary.

Still, you don't know what shape you'd be in if you'd have eaten meat. Since research shows some aminoacids found only in meat are crucial for development, you might have been even better off.
| quote: | | when I said meanly as you do that was a type o. I meant to seimply say that in your books its ok to commit mass murder but not to treat them meanly. |
Then check what you type. As I've said, "mass murder" of animals is important for our well-being. Treating them meanly isn't. Besides, most farm animals have turned into retarded bags of meat. I mean, have you ever seen a cow or an ostrich in real life? Stupidity simply radiates out of their being. I'm sad when a sentient and emotional being dies. I'm not sad when a retarded being dies. I mean, come on, a chicken can run for 10 minutes with it's head missing. It's brain is just about as complex as my cpu. The only animals I'd agree should be excluded from eating would be pigs, because they're actually pretty smart and are still capable of wilderness survival.
| quote: | | And you still havent shown in any way how eating meat is necessary. |
I've shown you a list of 2 aminoacids that are not available in any food other than human breastmilk and animal meat. So unless you want to suck your mom's until 20 years of age, you should eat some meat during growth period.
| quote: | | I still don't see how us conquering the planet makes us more worthy? especially not if you think about how we are quite likelly to also be the doom for this planet. |
Because it shows we are the most capable species. Now, it's somewhat logical to support the capable over incapable, don't you agree? It's tough luck for the weak, but consider what degeneration of species would happen if we did the opposite. And as I've said, we are the only species that has the potential to spread ourselves and other species throughout the universe. Considering that our sun has only a limited age, we infact have the potential to save the species and animals of earth and enable their life past that occurance. Other animals simply can't do that. |

LOL Woohoo, Peta's latest "fur-ocious" tactics ... they crack me up :):
Fur flies over flier: PETA targets ‘Nutcracker’ kids
By David Weber
Wednesday, December 17, 2003
Animal rights advocates will single out small children at performances of ``The Nutcracker'' in the next few weeks by handing out fliers saying ``Your Mommy Kills Animals'' to youngsters whose mothers are wearing fur.
``Children can't look up to a mom in a battered-raccoon hat or a crushed coyote collar,'' said Ingrid Newkirk, president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. ``Maybe when they're confronted by their own children's hurt looks, fur-wearers' cold hearts will melt.''
The fliers include a color drawing of a woman plunging a large bloody knife into the belly of a terrified rabbit. The fliers urge kids to ``ask your mommy how many dead animals she killed to make her fur clothes.
``And the sooner she stops wearing fur, the sooner the animals will be safe. Until then, keep your doggie or kitty friends away from mommy - she's an animal killer.''
Brookline child psychologist Dr. Carolyn Newberger called the tactics ``terribly dangerous to children.''
``It's using children in the worst possible way,'' she said. ``If (the activists) want to legitimately work to protect animals from destruction for fashion, they have every right to. But to do so by targeting children and making them feel their mothers are murderers is absolutely unconscionable.''
Lisa Franzetta, a national coordinator for PETA, said the group will launch its ``fur-ocious'' protest at `Nutcracker' performances in as many as 20 cities across the United States.
Franzetta, who is based in California, said yesterday she did not yet know when the protests will begin in Boston, where ``The Nutcracker'' is playing at the Wang Center for the Performing Arts in the Theater District.
Franzetta acknowledged the anti-fur campaign might spark a backlash. ``It's definitely provocative, I will give you that,'' she said.
Wang Center officials could not be reached for comment about the planned protests.

| Regarding PETA targeting kids...I think their actions give adults the right to target PETA. Seriously, if one of those tofu toothpicks touched my kid (if I had one), they'd get a fist in the face. |

you know, if every last tactic is used trying to get rid of these idiots we could always eat the PETA members and their supporters.

yes because violence is clearly the answer right? that sure is mature of you. I seriouselly hope you don't actually have any kids because I would hate to see what would happen to them when they got out of line... |

Because most soccer moms wear coonskin Davey Crockett caps...;) :wtf:
IMO PETA will now be guilty of abusing children if they proceed with this "hairbrained" scheme.
