Thats actually not true. When I was younger I had a going list of how many people who ate meat I got to stop. I think I got up to about 22 before giving up on counting. I agree that peta are quite extreme and their methods often hurt the cause. But I can understand how people can be pushed to take extreme measures sometimes when faced with so much suffering which seems almost uncontrollable. |
i meant all meat eaters :p
its probably quite easy to convert people if you show them battery farming, current conditions etc, but in the end, they'd realise how tasty there steaks and sausages were

| I never used shock tactics on anyone. Eating meat is horrible, and once people realize that they would never go back. |

What I mean by "natural" is healthy. Yes, you may laugh when I say that eating meat is healthy, but take a look around you. We have more disease and unhealthy lifestyles then ever before. Many of the diseases that we deal with today are caused by our eating habits. Our bodies simply were not designed to eat processed foods (including cereal grains) and we are paying the price for eating them.
Again, by natural I mean healthy and in order to be healthy we must eat what our bodies were designed for. You may see killing animals as inhumane, but regardless of what you eat, you're killing something to do it. Whether it's plants or animals, something has to die to fill your stomach. Unless you're eating rocks or something. |

Alligators actually eat rocks to aid in breaking down the other food that they eat.
This debate is silly. It always comes down to Animal Rights Activists vs. People Who Just Don't Give a . |

And just imagine how a poor potato feels when it's pulled out of it's cozy earth, split into parts, mutilated, and then fried while it's biological processes are still going on!
Also, carnivores can too survive on a herbivore diet, like berries and fruits, although the quality of their life is then decreased. So maybe we shoud caputre all the carnivores in the world (it's not that hard, you know, if the global community agrees) and feed them fruits and berries, while letting herbivores roam free. Oh, wait, what would then happen? Herbivores would multiply, eat all the plants, and die of starvation. Yes, it's not pleasant for animals to die, but hell, that's life.
Now, about veggie diet, just take a look at how many americans are grotesquely fat. On the other hand, you have a huge propaganda machine that encourages eating grains as the basis of your diet. Most people attempt to follow those suggestions. It's not like that in other countries, and people in other countries are slimmer. Bread and grains give temporary boost in energy, but quickly turn to fat and wear out after a short time. My dad eats a lot of bread and he's fat like a pig. I eat almost no bread, and lots of meat and I'm not fat at all. Take a look at how many people eat Atkins diet, something that is supposedly certain to cause a heart attack to fat people, yet they get slimmer, and their blood pressure drops.
Finally, here are pictures of cow, human and lion digestive systems:

Not quite the most scientific pictures I could find, but you can see that the human digestive system is more similar to the lion one than to cow one. |

| PETA using a freak-kids-out tactic to try and make their point is a very low and vile way of doing it. Surely they can come up with better ways to have an impact than by scaring the living hell out of kids who are too young to know better. it's not kids who are responsible for all the stuff that PETA is opposed to. abuse of animals etc are all things that adults are responsible for. I don't know what PETA is trying to accomplish by scaring kids, that's only going to piss people off. |

| PETA firmly needs to realize that they do not live in a world where everyone wants to be a Vegan, Sometimes I wonder who is actually a member of this cult of self righteous, ostentacious wackos, look at us we don't eat meat, so neither should you. Mankind has been eating meat for eons, if PETA doesn't like it then they should go and jump off the edge of a cliff. There are millions around the world who wish if they could have the choice to eat meat or not. Get a life PETA, if they were smart they would promote their resources to fighting worldwide hunger and thereby promoting their non-meat eating agenda, because I am not giving up my beef and eggs for anyone. |

Why stop there? ARA (anti racist action) needs to realize that they do not live in a world where everyone thinks blacks and whites are equal. Sometimes I wonder what kind of person would join such a self-righteous cult. They even look down at all those white guys who like to beat arabs up. I mean whites have been killing off other races for eons, if ARA foenst like it then they shoyld go and jump off the edge of a cliff. Get a life ARA because I am not giving up my weekly hispanic beatings. |
