perfect, you can be my guinea pig! :p
could you PLEASE play around with the CDJ in scratch mode
or whatever its called, and write up a review of how comfortable
and responsive it is, and compare it to the denon (speaking
of both overall qualities, and scratch functionality)
thanx in advance |

well i dont really scratch so i dont know which one is better. buti like the cdj-800's better than the dn-s3000's bcuz i just dont know why. lol. i just think cdj's are easier to use and the denons are more complicated.:conf: |

| I recently bought 2 CDJ800s and I am very happy with them. They are simple to use, yet very accurate, scratching is as good as it should be I think, but I don't know much about scratching. The platter detects when you put pressure on it with your finger, and as soon as you put a little bit of pressure, it goes into "vinyl" mode, where you can scratch, move the track forward and back, etc. It has lots of looping functions that work very well and reverse sound mode is pretty cool too. Not sure how they could make this better... great buy! Get them from Musician's Friend... 600 bucks... authorized dealer too so you can get the free HDJ1000 headphones AND 100 buck rebate if you buy 2. |

why would you switch from the s3000 to the 800?
as far as i know 800 doesnt play mp3s on a data cd,and even if it does.. the 3000 has a search feature where you can search for an mp3, which is very affective. |

well, ive been drooling over the CDJ1000Mk2's for a while,
but this may be a good alternative, seeing as i have low
budget. how much are these things going for these days again?
now, on the scratch subject, just tell me if it feels comfortable
to manipulate with, even if you dont do it, should you want
to scratch, is the jogwheel responsive/liberal enough for you,
etc? |

well there are a few reasons for that. 1st, i usually buy my music, i dont have any mp3's. 2nd, i ant download music on my computer bcuz i have to share it with other family members and the adminsitrator does not want me to download. and lastly, i suggest everyne should buy the music, unless its alive set or someting thas fine. otherwise peope should buy it to support the trance music industry, not being able to afford it isnt a good excuse.:) :) |

actually it is a good excuse, since money isnt stopping the person who plays mp3s to still enjoy the music, therfor he loves music more then you think, since he isnt letting the financial problem get in his way
anyway dont tell me about "supporting the trance music industry" i buy a load of vinyls, and what about those songs i cant get on vinyl? or cant find? thats why im getting s3000's
sit. |
