i've always been fairly mature & sensible (except when drunk)

but recently i'm doing a lot more thinking for myself, and seeming to know myself a lot better.

any1 else ever go through a phase like this??

i was about 16 when that happened. (went through a bit of a depression and wanted to know why). then i seriously regressed and i dont think i ever recovered from that.

I think the moment one grows up is when s/he realizes the world doesn't care.

everything depends on the definitions of "growing up" and "maturity"

you never stop maturing and there's never really a defined moment that you suddenly became "mature"

but for me, i started completely hating the world at 15.

Computer programs don't really "grow up", but I'd say I attained code maturity in 1956 and achieved peak performance in 1985.
