i don't want to come across as a ranting bitch,

youre a CRAZY ranting bitch if youre mormon, get it right, didnt you read anything?

From growing up in Salt Lake, and grilling mormons, and reading one of the original handwritten texts (my dad lied about being a mormon and knew tons so he passed the test they made him take to even see the thing) it was worth 15 grand in the 70s so its probably couple hundred thou now...had things like the White and Delightsomes...wait derailing here. Point is, im not being an ignorant person when I say that "The church of latter day saints" is odd. Its odd because most religions are inclusive, they WANT people to join in and then get converted.

Mormons keep you out so you join the club to see whats up. there is a reason that with 5 kids a pop mormon population hasnt gone up a whole lot.

im not trying to get into it, but from a 'this is how religions typically function' viewpoint and not a doctrinal difference, its more of a cult than a religion. and according to the definition laid down by sociologists, it is a cult. a big one, but still a cult.

The cult thing is just saying that it isnt widely accepted by society for whatever reason.

Moral of the story is you need a hug you crazy bizatch :D

Ok, i really don't want to argue about this, but some of your statements bug me. I know your really smart and i don't doubt that you know a thing or two about mormons, but i think you need to seperate fact from opinion. I don't think that it is a big secret club, if that were the case, why is there missionarys constantly knocking at your door? If you asked any mormon a question im sure they would love to tell you all they know. Also, do you have a source of statistics to prove the mormon population isn't increasing hardly at all? And i think the thing that your dad took a test:conf: for to see, i think i have heard something about that before, the salamander letter or something like that. Well, that stuff is bullocks and i know people love to sensationalize everything about something unknown but i hope you don't believe everything you hear. Im sure your dad did see something and talked to some people but they were out of their minds. No religion has a perfect congregation. If you think it is an exclusive religion because no anybody is allowed into our temples, that is because they are sacred places. Im sure there are other sacred temples in asia and other places that you wouldn't be able to just walk into. If you want to learn about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints but don't want to talk to a missionary with the fear that he will shove a book or mormon down your throat, look at www.mormon.org . You dont' read a baseball book to learn about hockey, so don't read anti stuff to learn about a religion. I think your awesome orbax, but i had to point these things out.:p
Nosmo
I totally disagree. Orbax is NOT awesome.
