I dont really care.. If someone asks me to bring my own meat I'm not going to be offended
So many people are picky these days about what they will/wont eat that it's probably easier.
If I was to have a bbq at mine I would probably supply the sausages, a bit of steak, salad, bread etc but if you want your $100/kg organic-grain-fed-prime beef or some weird vegie-tofu-lentilbean patties then bring them yourself :p
If the bbq was a meet up in a park or something (ie. not in someone's backyard) then I would expect that everyone would bring their own unless some sucker wanted to buy the lot ;) |
Its a good idea to bring your own meat, i've got the perfect A-grade stuff ;) So how's about it Kel, can I bring you to the TA bbq ? :gsmile: |

i'm off to a bbq tomorrow night and it's BYO meat ! i don't see any problem with it. Alot of people these days are so damn fussy what's cooked, so why not just bring what satisfies yourself and they can cook it for you !
it's not really a big ask, but each to their own !
well, have a good weekend whatever everyone is up too ! :D |

The host of the BBQ always supplies the meat.
It is up to the guests to supply the alcohol.
If you are smart you will realise that the small investment in steaks, sausages and satay chicken kebabs will be outweighed by the free alcohol supplied. (never ask an economist such questions) |

| If it's for a party then yeah, host supplies, but if its just mates catchin up to be social and all then bring your own unless the inviter requests! |

I think the original story involved paulie being invited to a friends B'day and was told to bring his own meat......
I concur it was a titeass thing to tell people to bring their own food :( |
