How do you know how that?
SOmeone could easily make the decision to post a note on a forum/site that they feel has been a big influence on their life.
Calling someone an attention whore with absolutley no basis just proves that you're an idiot. Think before you post, ffs, why can't you just be pleased that he's ok? |

Thats untrue.....I knew a guy, who was 14 at the time, who threatened suicide and no one believed that he would do it...well he did. He wasn't lying and he wasn't being an "attention whore". Yes people make up things on the internet all of the time but you don't know him and therefore you really shouldn't judge.
I lost a friend to suicide back in 98 and it still s me up. I really hope you take this as a sign that its not your time to go yet, and that you're obviously meant to do more. Plus, it s up everyone who cares about you, so much.
Also, to the person who said that meds dont kill you....are you serious??? Plenty of people have ended their lives taking sleeping pills or other medications. |

It looks as though some people are the real attention whores by being complete s in a thread where there should only be words of encouragement. All I gotta say for those people (SebG, etc..) is that it must take one to know one huh;)
Anotherway: I’m glad to hear that things worked out. Even though I don’t really know you, I was still disturbed at that other thread and was wondering if you were ok. I would strongly recommend going to an actual therapist and getting to the root of your depression rather than just taking prozac and thinking it’s all gone, because trust me, it’s not. It’s just hiding behind the meds. |

i have completely no pitty for AnotherWay83.
ofcourse we all have the feeling somewhere in our lives that we think that it could be easier to just end it. about 95% of those who think this moves on and has a great life after....
the last 5% seriously thinks about suicide, but almost at the end they start to see that life isn't that bad at all. there are millions of great things about life, u just have to find them...
i myself sometimes have the feeling aswell to just end it. i'm in a completely ty situation right now, being unemployed and not having a big chance to find a job since i don't have a diploma. also the goverment is being a pain in the ass for being a bureaucracy :(

i have to pay rent for my appartment today and i have completely no money for it, nor for my car, nor for food.
but i move on. i stop to think about the bad things in life and i start thinking about the good things (chicks especially :)).
everyone has a bad period in his time, and that will end soon enough.
if u take the bad days away from the good days, u'll have more than 10 times as much good days as bad days. it's just the negative people who only think about the bad days. start being positive and enjoy this life, cuz it's the only one u'll get.... |

thank you once again to everyone for your kind words :)
and i really wasn't using TA for the attention, i made that post after having taken all the pills and i fully expected to die, it was a goodbye and not a threat that i was trying to convey...
looking back on my week at the hospital i think it was quite an experience...u really have no idea of how heavily medicated you are until u get out lol...and now i remember vaguely saying and doing things i wouldnt even think of doing when sober (unmedicated)...i was hitting on just abt every woman there lol...but i did meet some of the best damn human beings (2 others who had voluntarily admitted themselves because they were having suicidal thoughts) of my whole damn life and i intend to maintain contact...im gonna go back today in fact and visit them :)
my family has been super-supportive...i've become a sort of celebrity here lol...but yeah they've found a good psychiatrist and i've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder...
