Let's be realistic: it DOES suck to now know the DJ list and, with most villas, occupancy must be Sunday to Sunday (or Sat-Sat). That means we have to choose a specific week, preferably the third or fourth week in August. It's possible to rent the villa for two weeks but that's just way too much organiztion and this is not a high school field trip.
things to think about :
*Assume this trip is going to cost you $3000. It could easily be less, but always round up.
*You must have a passport.
*The remainder of the payment for the villa (the LARGE payment) is not due until the end of July. Will you have this money?
If it's too difficult for us to get a villa now, we can still get our group together, take the time to look into places and decide the best date. It's ok if it takes a few weeks. Between Dani, Indy, Michi and I, we can get this trip off the ground.
PS: Talk to your friends who have been to Ibiza. Talk to Ian, Arnold/Choobak, Michi/Shellsh0ck, Andreas/Overseas, Dan/Wallflower; whoever you know. Learn from them.

Okay here's my breakdown of my 2003 ibiza trip....total vacation time 9 days=6 days ibiza, 2 days amsterdam, 1 day travel.
We flew free from atlanta to amsterdam because of frequent flyer miles. Our flight from amsterdam to ibiza and hotel cost around 450 euros(under 500 usd). I ended up spending
2500 USD=We went clubbing every nite, ate 1 meal a day, rented a car and scooters, didnt' drink that much at all ;), had plenty of water (8 euros a day), souvenir shopping etc.
clubs cost an average of 40 euros a nite.
just thought that would help |

| The only way this trip is going to cost anything close to $3000 is if we cant find any cheap plane tickets, but with dani's skills in finding plane tickets - I think we will be just fine. |

peak season but approaching close of the season. Unusual destination bla bla bla ... I say we're looking at 5~700 $ for direct flight on an average if there's early booking etc. But don't take my word for it! I've never flown over there from the US.
I believe we might be looking at cheaper flights if we do take a stop in Amsterdam or London. ( Easyjet etc to go from there to Ibiza )
We're in for fun times with plane tickets!
I'll be on the lookout as soon as the time comes.

East Midlands for myself, that is with bmibaby, a budget airline and the costs are £25 out and £30 back, which totals in USD approx $95 |
