I'm just saying that I'm pretty confident that everyone who's ever tried any drug in the last fifty years knows that it is bad for them...
Do you really think there are people out there that think heroin is good for them??? They know it's bad, but they're still gonna try it. NO amount of articles, or warnings or laws are going to stop people from doing drugs. People who want to do drugs are going to do them. Every kid in America knows cigarettes are bad for them, but kids still start smoking. Even if the article or study says that doing drugs would give you Aids, people would still do drugs.
(oh and for the record) I don't smoke, just trying to make a point. But if you do smoke and enjoy it go right ahead and enjoy yourself. |

Yes, a bunch of articles and studies won't make people stop doing drugs, but they will reduce their number. An average person is pretty stupid and short sighted, and tends to forget the consequences of his/her actions. That's why people need to be constantly reminded about such matters. |

imo this is as worthwhile a post as any, especially as its in the chillout room
besides drugs are not just bad for the individual but for others too, as there is a direct link between drug abuse and anti social behavior
I'm not saying X nescescarily, but if this post puts one young clubber off taking it, its gotta be a good thing |

The majority of people who use drugs use them recreationally and their use will not affect their lives at all. They will continue to live a normal life. So can you please stop preaching to us? |

As I've already said, people are stupid and short sighted and need to be constantly reminded of the consequences of their actions, otherwise they tend to forget things. Another factor is that drug users are usually teens in puberty who can't think straight. |

Its funny the negative reaction you get from posting a scientific article... Maybe it's due to their sudden realization that they have been destroying their bodies more than they had thought? lol
Ive used E and felt long term side effects from it.. not good. I expect to see more studies like this showing just how damaging MDMA is, especially to the brain... |
