Real iq tests give different iqs depending on ur age. This doesnt seem to. |

really...? it changes as you progress i asuume? i agree with switch,
the more you learn the higher your IQ becomes. it is only a tempor-

Not necessarily. Iq is more about intelligence than knowledge.
An intelligent person will be able to work out the answer to a problem when he didnt know the answer beforehand. A knowledgable person mightve known the answer already, but might not have been able to work the answer out if he didnt already know it. |

lol, these are funny, mostly because no one has defined Intelligence yet to the satisfaction of everyone. Some think there are many different types of intelligence while others think there is one central intelligence. which is indicative of this test.
remember, if you practice for an IQ test before you get a higher score, but afterwards you don't practice and take another one, you will get a lower score. So obviously these tests measure something other than IQ.
and the worst part about these tests is they stick with you for freakin ever. Those presidential IQ test were administered so long ago it isn't even funny. That was also back when IQ etsts sucked even worse than now. So I guess if you give them another test today they might get another score, depending on the type of questions asked.
so when your kid comes home with a slip asking if you will let them take an IQ test, don't let them. They get pigeon holed at school, that is the ones that score high will get moved into good classes and the others will be in remedial classes. All because of a test. badd all around.
but it is fun taking online ones for s and giggles. |

I hate these standardized tests and the way they are used to lump students into one of two categories dumb/smart. These test don’t measure qualities that are more important to succeed in the real world like: attitude, creativity, how you relate to others, and an ability to over come adversity. Outside of school no one hands you a multiple choice test. :rolleyes: |
