Hey all..

I was just wondering if anyone can shed some light on how one would create a supersaw in reason 2.5.. i've done searches on this site and found tutes for the roland jp80xx synths.. and i've heard people make great supersaw sounds with reason.. can anyone start me off in the right direction?

thanks for your time

It's not possible to create supersaw in Reason.
State of Matter
It is possible with the pro 53 if you want to sample it out in something like FLP or Cubase. Real samples of the jp8080 are hard to come by (good ones) and with the pro 53 atleast you can tweak it.

But no i've never heard a supersaw made inside of reason (from the internal synths).

several solutions:

1.Finding out how 2 create a supersaw with subtractor or maelstorm:
Isn't worth time since you can't reach a pro sounding supersaw, although Cyrogenic has come far with his maelstorm supersaw attempt
;)

2. Downloading a JP8080 Multisample Supersaw for use with Logic Audio or Reason Sampler:

3. getting the JP8000 refill ( free ) on the web by searching it in google. -> found this, dunno if it the right refill:

A great (free) VSTi to make supersaw and detuned waves is Superwave 8 get it here

dude! alanzo, i like that synth.. thanks for that :)

Yeh - the presets are cool (adjust the LFO's to get rid of the sweeps on them) and make your own as well - detune and superwaves are the key to good saw pads :)

playing with it for half an hour.. quite suprised how good it is considering it's free!!!
