Rumour Mill: GUV closing in 2004?

I heard through the rumour mill here at work that the Guvernment is going to be closing and replaced with Condos (<--- why the hell they'd do that is beyond me considering the glut we have already).
Anyone else hear of such a thing? :confused: |

| Not happening...there is a land development freeze because of the waterfront restoration. at this time you can not put up residential there. |

That doesn't mean that the developers can't buy the land and close the club though. |

They can buy the club - but not the land...just ever4ything above the land. but what would be the point since they cant build on it???? |
