YEAH! OFFICIAL Ferry@Glow REVIEW!!!
View this Thread in Original format

YEAH!!.. besides still being very awake.. hehehe.. guess i should have drank more... i'm extrememly excited to start the official review thread!,... Thanks guys for either being tired... or not close to a computer as you after party!!

I had an utterly amazing time. I've been looking forward to this ever since seeing Ferry for the first time this nov in seattle!... they cut him short there so this was much anticipated!!

Gosh .. i don't even know where to begin!... Babysitting worked out for me.. so we allowed the kids to dance to some ferry to pump ourselves up for tonight... myself and my roommates tried to cordinate... we wanted this night to be a true night to remember so once we hit glow we ran around gathering all the TA's and giving all our hugs and hellos!

Especially to everyone on TA that i've spoken to online but have barely had the opportunity to ever talk to for real.... IT WAS GREAT TO FINALLY MEET YOU!!! WOOO HOOO!!!

Pete.. THANKS THANKS THANKS!! wonderful opener... i loved the techno that was dropped.. i was going nuts.. it was hard to stay in the middle with everyone cuz my feet were on dance fever!! and i needed space to groove!!

Crowd was great.. but hey thats cuz your all friends or friends of friends and wonderful to have there!!

HIGHLIGHT OF MY NIGHT!!! -- punk came on and i was looking for my best friend to dance with....
and behold i found him quickly and rocked the back corner... then... lets make JOSY'S LIFE SPLENDID! - body rock was played next.. And it was a different mix than what i've heard.. i liked it...
... oh and i love that for punk not being a vocal song... heheheh.... it rocked that everyone was doing the da, da, da, da.... lalalalala....... (i lost my voice)

I have complete respect for an artist who takes time for their family... and sounds silly.. but its great that he has the opportunity to do what he loves with his wife.. right behind him litterally... which after going behind the booth... she's a wonderful person.. it was great meeting her and ferry.. i love how energetic and lively he is... and he's just one of the DJ's that literally lights up a room with his positive vibe!!

k.. see everyone at the next glow MARCH2003!!! if not sooner.. thanks to everyone.. especially pete for bringing us these nights!!

Heh, just woke up =P

First thing I have to say, is the big mexican guy and his white friend were the most annoying people there. They kept pushing people out of the way and didn't give a about people's space. And the white guy kept leaning back into my hand and kept thinking i was punching him and was like "if you do that again i am going to you up." I told him you, and was thinking that he would get owned because I have all the TAs and friends on my side =P.

Anyway, those guys were s. But on to the real star, ferry.

Ferry rocked it. My highlight of the night were the 3 techno tracks that ferry played in a row around 4ish AM. Me and reuben were talkin about this all night, and finally he delivered, but reuben was in the bathroom at the time hehe =/.

It was also cool havin pete tag-team with ferry in the last 30-40 minutes. Though, pete's selection could have been better it was still his last night at glow-insomnia.

Reuben should have a tracklist up in a while, he was keeping one in his phone.

Anyway, had a great night, gotta shower and eat now =P.

Peace,

~Ryan

OMG Last night was so incredable that words are not enough.

First Big-ups to Pete Mousto & Ferry Corsten for layin tha Smack-it down. Well got there before everyone. Saw some TA's at last (Karma Energy & Vtec J). Well I was feeling good (got some good sleep at last) and danced through tha whole night. Well Pete was layin it down with that hard Progressive and techno great set of his.Hahaha damn Sergio you got twisted it fast man (drunk foo lol). Wow Amy & Friend, Koo tattoo's now you are The Glow Queens.

Finally saw Josy & The cats LOL. I saw everyone jump for Ferry when he was at the booth like 30 minutes earlier :toothless . Like always everyone went banana when Ferry finally appeared Wuuhhooooo  . I was surpised that it wasn't packed since its the last night for Glow in Insomnia . Great crowd unlike other events. Guess some people were out of town hahahahaha. Well Ferry kileed me last night ,not only was play his new songs but classics also. That your Rock Your Body remixes where excellent aswell. I was ready to Punked. Everyone was going "DJ Spinning Punk DJ Spinning Punk ---- dadadada nanananana" Love this track know matter how time I heard it.

The whole time I was like man Ferry keeping going and going. I was like four o'clock already can't end here and it didn't. Then some people were lost when Ferry got on the Mic and started saying "Whats Your name" everyone said various names :haha: but I knew what he was meaning and I said Glow. Then this the funny part Ferry says "Not your person names you goof but the name of this place" Everyone said GLOWWWWWWWWW. The I was shocked what he said to everyone "We DJ's don't make Pete Mousto does" That was so cool for him to say. Well I died when I heard "fathless  :tongue2 :toocool: :gsmile: ". Well shout outs goes to Brian & Joel? Awesome night hope ya got some good rest and those pics can't freakin wait lol, Sergio you drunken master man dude come down on the long Islands lol, Skytrance, Amy, Jerezygurl great tattoos once again and great too chill with Fun fun , Das Mario Great that chill with Ya hahah we where going nuts lol, Josy and The cats always great to see ya ,Ryan, Tranceyes & Friend, Bemma, Dan Da Man.

great nite but some people there are very annoying. they act like they "own" there own spot/area, they push u like your not there and u cant "touch" them.

ferry set was nice. It would be nicer if i had earplugs and he play phil kieren-i love you. my ears were ringing like they never rang before. it was nice to take the pix with ferry and get to meet some new people. best song of nite was william orbit-adagio for strings (FC remix) and oceanlab-satellite :)

I definitely had a great time meeting some new TA's and partying with the old ones. You guys rock. It's ABOUT TIME they moved out of that stupid club. I can't wait to see what the new Glow will be like.

Here's looking forward to the TL. I want to know what was the name of that song that he played after "Out of the Blue" (Second Edition).

Ferry was awsome. He killed me on the dancefloor with Sweet Sorrow. Does anyone know what the name of the tune he played after Sweet Sorrow. His beatmatching was perfect all night. Pete's set was great also. It was also cool that Ferry played late. Ferry could not have ended it better than with William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Costen Remix):eyespop:. Ferry was cool about signing things unlike Tiesto in November. It was great meeting a lot of people on TA. vtec junkie,Erin, Aaron, Busy Child, intelligent77, yuujie, and others (I can't remember names)

Did the white guy have glasses? If we're thinking of the same person,I wanted to clothesline him. Yeah, I loved how he unleashed those techno tracks on us and everyone was in a groove. Ferry signed my Tenshi vinyl so I was happy :D

yea that white guy with sunglasses and his spanish friend were the most annoying people ever

I'm still awake from yesteday... yikes! Sleep will happen momentarily. I think my ears are still ringing- the price I pay when I forget my earplugs.

Had a blast last nite! So great to see so many TA's I haven't seen out in so long, & to meet some new ones. It's always funny to come back here & have total strangers know who I am, LOL! DJ booth was madness- constant flow of people thru there the whole nite, and Ferry never complained one bit. That guy is pure class! His wife's a sweetie too. Thanks to Pete for the hookups, as always, & to Ferry for playing that Airscape tune for me, & for doing so much for his fans.

Ian, Wally, & Brian- hope u made it home ok on your long journeys home.

This vacation is flying by so quickly....
I'll post my pics when I get back to my computer at home, after Jan.5.

Oi in oi! I'm going to bed.
