I'm pretty positive Gabriel & Dresden played this last night at Godskitchen - unfortunatly in my opinion it was a bit of a let-down, the actual tune is nice but the vocals are cheesy as . I think a few people are going to be disappointed
did anyone else from here hear it? (it was the one after ATRC)
edit - forgot to add, gabriel & dresden were absolutly superb, I really enjoyed their set last night. :) |

| Yeah I did, doesnt touch As the rush comes. Yeah it did sound abit cheesy aswell :( I think a good remix of it will do wonders :) |

Dave said he'll be playing the new Mororcycle track on New Year's Eve, so I imagine that's what you heard. Cheesy vocals or not, I'm still interested.

I for one I'm glad that this song isnt a ATRC Part 2. Those of you expecting it to be as big as ATRC should just stop comparing it to a to such a Massive tune. Because if you do more than likely you will be dissapointed if it doesn't meet your expectations. |

Yeah, I heard it last night at God's... It was okay. You can actually tell they spent more time on it, less repetitive and stuff, but I don't think it'll ever beat what essentially is a fluke, ATRC.
Otherwise tho, the night was fannntastic, hearing Veracocha - Carte Blanche and Armin - Communicate made me tingle :) and I got to have a really decent chat to Mr Dresden about Andain and stuff :)
I have a ticket with Armin, Gabriel, Dresden and Jon O Bir's sigs on it :)

with high expectations, a new song tends to be dissapointing easier

| after the guaranteed commercial success of 'as the rush comes' I guess they gotta follow it up with something equally as marketable to the masses. Gotta say i really liked atrc, but it's a bit played out now for me - i wait in anticipation to hear this! |

i started my set off with the acappella, the instrumental and then the club mix. i think if you listen to this song trying to find what has essentially become a dance music classic (atrc) you will always be let down.
i personally love the lyrics to "imagination" - perhaps a little more "girly" than "as the rush comes" but remember, i do this for me first.
