Well first off, Im definitely not "gaga" over PvD, I do enjoy his presence though - although lately his track choice and sets have sucked, he is still one of the best DJs out there.

And as per my comment about newer stuff and newer tracks, I noticed there were quite a few classics, but maybe that implies the fact that hes alittle limited to whats new and what he likes to spin. Also, hes trying to spin different stuff, we can all predict - at this point - whats hes gonna spin and when... so a change was inorder, but this is alittle drastic. I guess he just got sick of all the new stuff, and thought a set filled with classics would give alittle nostalgia.

I don't know I heard great stuff about him in 2001 and in 2002 but now in 2003 he sucked major ass and the new album didn't even help also. He went vocal nutty this year. Too much crap now I'll be back I have my teebat ready hehehehehee :toothless

He played a lot of old tracks because he says he was playing all the tracks people requested him to play at Casino in december... at least that's what he says....

he's just playing requests..

his radio Fritz shows have never been like the majority of his live sets...most of the time they have a lot more obscure tracks, and can get very housey.

Having said that, I agree with Brian: this tracklist is a ing joke!
I've heard of playing a classic here and there but jesus!
and the few new tracks that he does have on there are completley lame

Gouryella - Gouryella
Liquid Child - Diving Faces

Like Addicted said.....a classic is good here and there but Jesus Christ this is pathetic :(

in defense of the tracks above, paul took requests via SMS for his vandit night in december. these tracks were requested for the evening, and he played them again in his radio show.

soundgarden shows are all over the place - he plays soo many different tracks, and some he even says sucks and would never play again. it's hard because we don't understand what he says. greg translates a lot for me.

soundgarden is something i tune into on wednesdays for background noise while at work and for something different to listen to. some tracks are great, others make me want to puke, but it's always been that way.

if anyone tuned in yesterday, i think the show was excellent. many new tracks played, and i really enjoyed them all. looking forward to a fresh pvd for 2004...
