I go for the music. Not to see some gimp come 'bust a move' in front of the decks. Perhaps when you saw PvD he didn't wanna interact with such a crowd. ;)

I'm not gonna dispute the fact that he is a bit of a legend because he truly is. Takes great skill to knock out as many productions as he did of such huge quality. 1999 was the best era of trance imo and it is of no coincidence that Ferry just happened to be at his peak at this time. He is one of the people that made this era so amazing. But his DJing skills are so crap, and what used to happen is that he'd get by on playing some great trance. Listen to some of his older sets, and u'll hear some very shoddy and uncreative mixing unlike PvD. But nowadays he plays crappy fake electro and does a piss poor job of fitting it together. If I want electro i'll listen to some dave clarke ;) Also, production wise he is recycling the same sound over and over. Yes, PvD also uses some of his sounds over and over but his tracks are far more diverse even if his kick is getting a bit old. I do have respect for him, but in the same way that I do for Oakie ;) And you don't see many people following Oakie these days do ya :)

When was the last time you saw him out of interest? Or heard a set broadcasted from him for that matter. He has changed his tracklist. When are people like you gonna change the record with the whole "why doesn't he change his playlist" crap. |

1. You missed that freakin point Ferry Corsten loves his fans and PVD acts like a in Gino. Its sad he he only likes his NY and Europe crowd. So forever has PVD lost my interes .PVD is just a is conceit bastard, crowd interaction is a must. I mean 95% is suppose to be that music that pumps you up and 5% should be that love the DJ's shows to his crowd cause you came to see him. I think I know why PVD is always stiff.
