White socks in Germany :D
It is considered as sloppy. But not always. For instance: You go out to a club on friday night and you are wearing dark trousers and dark shoes. And when you sit down on a bar hocker and your white tennis socks come to public you are dead for every girl immediately. But I must say this really looks awful.
But if you wear white socks with light trousers and e.g. white shoes nobody would be interested in it.

I watched neighbours for about 4 yrs at school, so yeah some ppl really like it, i dont watch it now thank god (well most of the time i dont)
lunch, afternoon, do you mean midday meal, if so yeah lunch. but if you mean in the evening then supper or dinner, some even call it tea (the evening meal that is)
is it really drummed into all you americans that you all can attain the american dream? |

Oh yes. We have ex post facto elections here all the time. As a matter of fact, Bush's patriot act prohibited us from not voting him into office. For you see, if we violated the patriot act and voted against Bush, the patriot act would have never been passed. Thereby creating a time paradox which would ripple through space-time resulting in the destruction of the universe. That was so sneaky of bush. |
