Egypt 2010...a dream or a reality?

Aight, those who do not like football ....oh oh oh, excuse me, i meant soccer for those people in the USA :) , will not understand this thread....
ok, the fifa world cup is something that every 4 years millions of people around the world gather around and start following it, and it is every country's dream to have the world cup on its land...
*World Cup 2010 will be in africa for the 1st time with 5 countries running..
1) Egypt
2) South Africa
3) Morroco
4) tunisia
5) Libya
for those who are football people, who do u think should get it? Why? and who do u think will get it? and which country out of all those do you support the most?
As for me, I think Egypt should be granted the right to host this amazing tournament for many reasons....
1st thing, just check the web site....

| great news to hear that the world cup will be help in africa for the first time! hmm im no expert on Africa so i dont know what place would be the best but i think it will will be Egypt. whats important to think about is the security of the players, the weather (cant be to hot like it was in the USA94 hehehe bad for the players and well a big soccer country. i think it will either be Egypt or South Africa. |

| i think it would be great in south africa. they have been bidding for years to have the world cup there and the olympics as well. but nothing :(. south africa would be a great place to have it. as to nelson mandela opening it, who knows? it would be great....but he is quite old :(. |

| Well there is a theory that is widely believed that ball games first originated from Egypt, so I think it would be great for Egypt to hold the 2010 world cup. Apparently the ball games played were not just a form of recreational activity, but involved large numbers of people in order to till the soil! Also, I personally would lav to go there to :toothless Although in saying that I would love to go to SA to :) |

Well it seems so far no one is taking this tournament more seriously than the Egyptian, they have already started building the stadiums needed to host the greatest event ...
as in terms of security, Egypt has the best security in africa where the government is in total control of any thing that could happen..we have some of the best attractions in the world...it is called the pyramids :) |
