So if I am not mistaken, the only version of traffic out there is a crappy sounding club recording. I dont think we can really judge the quality of the track until there is a quality recording.

For those of you who don't like Traffic, go listen to some fluffy uplifting crap or boring-as-hell prog.

I'll take 2 shots of prog, and a glass of tribal, please Doreen...

FLAMERS: 1

TRAFFIC: 0 :)

Who will strike next in the "god i really hate this kick ass song" battle?

traffic is one of those tunes that you either like it or you hate it. i personally like it.
dJohn
I like it.
To those of you who hate it, just curious...what tracks would you compare this too i.e rather hear, etc...and please don't say like it's not even worth comparing too.

Yeah traffic sux!!!!
And you know what else sux??? AS THE RUSH COMES OMG THIS TUNE SUXX!!! When it was first out i really loved it but now all of a sudden it suxx monkeyballs!
OMG!!1!1!!!

djeez what kind of a prick are you claiming the only right opinion is yours. I do agree with the fact that traffic can be a thriving song when you hear it live. It may be overplayed, just like ATRC ( ) but that doesn't mean it sux.

Also kind of stupid making a thread months after the other 845332 threads about the exact same thing
albertoR
i like traffic, specially in new york
Furor Aquila
I take the suburban train to go downtown. :p

When there's too much Traffic I take The Tube, especially if I need to catch my Dallas 4PM commute on Flight 643. But that still takes an Eternity.

Okay, okay, that was pretty bad.

some tracks lack a certain...lets call it sophistication. But that doesn't mean its a bad track. Traffic is simple, dirty, and driving. Its meant to bang in a club on a big sound system.

Its meant to be a stormer, something to lift the energy of a set and get people dancing.

It seems like a lot of people who slam these type of tracks cannot appreciate them for what they are. I can understand if you find it hard to respect the quality of production (but you would still be missing the point). But don't dismiss a track b/c the mp3 is not a good back drop for surfing the web.

i second that
its meant to be a "live" song not some kind of masterpiece that should be studied piece by piece
Mr.Mystery
You mp3 kids shouldn't judge a track before you hear it in a club.
