DOOM 3 or HALF LIFE 2? whice one of these giant FPS game does it for you?

i'm going for Half Life 2. have been playing the out of the first one a while back and i think the 2nd one ever since seeing some trailers and some pics just blew me away. great graphics and just neat lighting and textures and intelligent enemies. cool weapons and just all around the most balance and best compared to doom 3. doom 3 does look nice though but i'm going to buy half life 2 instead.
what is giong to win or which one of the two is probably going to be on top? |

hmm that's a hard question..
for the fun i think HL2, for the eye candy and game experience Doom3
both will be extremely good games and both will be fun to play |

I also prefer multi player and not single player

well both look great so far, hl2 looks amazing! i assume u all watched that 600mb hl2 vid? i havent really seen any doom vids tho so i cant say much about it |

medal of honor: allied assault. Boring IMO, there is a million "realistic" shooters. Quake 3 has Urban terror 2, Half Life has CS, Quake 3 also has RTCW:ET (which is completely free), Unreal has Tactical Ops, Unreal 2 has Tactical Ops as well. Rainbow 6...
it really sucks the initial doom 3 release will not have multiplay support but the single player is supposed to be really sweet anyway. |

No point in buying it if there isn't a way to blow your friends up. :p
As for waiting for new games, Perfect Dark Zero and Halo 2 are coming out for the xbox. |
