Just find a picture you like, measure your equipment draw templates. Slap it together.
I used this picture: http://www.dualsf.com/gallery/gallery16.html and modified it from there.

ikea does sell a pretty nice record holder
that has 25 bins where each bin would hold like 100 rekkids. |

i used something from ikea as the base for my dj table.
i bought 2 base cabinets usually used for kitchens. i just bought the actualy box, with the silver feet, instead of the kickplates. i also bought the shelving units.
the cabinets are 30" high and each one is 24" wide, for a total of 48" wide. kitchen cabinets have no top which is what i needed.
i then built the console, painted everythin the same color, and i had a pretty sweet table for my stuff. |
blu, i meant stuff you can put together just like cosmo did ^^ |

Dont get me wrong, this thing wasnt totally put together with grommets. only the base piece. the base was a waste for me to make since i was painting it all anyway.
the entire console i built from scratch. 3/4 inch plywood for the bottom and then i just framed everything out, including dividers. i put a channel in the back for the wiring which drops into the ikea piece/base. i store my receiver and anything extra down there.
the console is 65" wide and sits on top of a 48" base piece, like a T shape.
i used carpet padding underneath the TTs and then lined everything in speaker carpet.
i'll post pics once the finishing touches are done and my 2nd m5g arrives. |

im thinking of just going basic, no inlays for the tables and mixer yet, just a standard table. i dont have the time/money for anything elaborate just yet. i want to go with something like:

| I used AutoCAD 2004. I offered you my servies in the first or second reply on this post bro :-). If you got AIM, we could chat and I could alter it in realtime, and send you pics and you could keep telling me to change it or whatnot, until its how you want it. |
