his set in toronto was a lot different from the other i herd.. it was my first time seeing him... but his stuff was like.. hard/funky/electro.

Ya.. I've seen Richie a few times over the years myself, most recently at Mutek last year on his Plus 8 night with Magda and Matthew Dear (dope night.. ultra weird beats)
this time, I expected it to be similar, partly because of the Closer album, partly because of what I've read about some of his recent sets.. I'm glad he played what he did though, kept the crowd into it right from the start.. If I dare say I even saw him crack a smile a few times.. Mr. Serious Mixer Hawtin.. hehe.. it was nice to see, he looked like he was having a good time. :)
His set with Mateo Murphy tonight (live PA) should be off da hizzhouse... |

im sooo mad i missed him in toronto :mad:
but im just so happy i got so see his live set.
this is wierd saying... being straight. but. does anyone think richie hawtin is HOT?? hes got such a sick style! and amazing hair lol.

for techno boyz.. I think Marco Carola and Adam Beyer are sexy.. more Carola, because Beyer is really lanky.. hehe.. and Stanny Franssen is also pretty cute.
But yes, when I saw Richie last night, he definitely looked like he borrowed Sven's stylist.
He didn't make any Ottawa HMV appearances, as far as I know. |

chris liebing is also a better looking male dj... i remember tatgirl hiting on him at the end of his set lol.
the most beautiful and also one of the most talented djs to me is miss kittin :)

but his face doesn't do much for me!
For techno chicks.. I'd have to say Gayle San is pretty cute... and a pretty dope dj too! I'm really digging a set of hers now from Liberty One 2002. |
