Candy kids are usually just up ur ass all kraked out on something spewing PLUR PLUR PLUR all over the place but not even really knowing what it's all about...they wear Hello Kitty...and like to wear kid type things. I've seen some of them bring toys with them to raves. They are not my type of person...It seems to me that kandy kids are more into the drugs then really the musik...but that may hev just been the ones I haven encountered. Does any other TA's get the same impression about Kandy Ravahs?

i guess candykidz are sorta the same thing.. but as u sed there are a few differances.. like the way they dress for a start.. and judging by the amount of ppl who hate candykidz on here they are alot nicer too.. unless u guys just havent taken the time to get to know um :)

here candykids would most likly be the same as cyberkids...
looking at your outfits, i'd say if you came to a rave or a club here like that, you'd be called a candykid...
it's all good though

I dunno..ask the cougar who picked me up in mexico..she is from seatle and thinks that all canadian men are delicious!!! Hey, I wont complain, I got liquored for free. Very good tequila...but yeah...She would argue that canadian men are delicious. did I mention that she was married, her husband wasnt there, and the man she had with her was her boy toy?

I did say that it may have just been the ones that I have encountered. So I don't think that is stereotyping....if I had said ALL kandy kids are this or ALL kandy kids are that...then they is stereotyping. What I said was based on my experience and I ended my last post with a question which was meant to say hey if anyone has had a diff experience then tell me. Don't be so quick to judge me b/c that is just as bad a stereotyping!

i am right with you on that one. it has nothing to do with stereotyping...it just has to do with a person's personal encounters with people/raves like that. that is how it is here too (for the most part). that is also why i don't like raves. it's like a bunch of kids there all scrubbed out rolling and tripping and just taking their clothes off and rubbing each other in public and sucking on pasifires or whatever...not my scene. i like the classier clubs with the older crowds just drinkin and maybe doing drugs (but not to the point where it looks like they have, "I'm a crackhead" written all over them). but they're totally just chillin and enjoying the music and mingling....now DON'T get me wrong, PLEASE...i am not saying that every single person that goes to a rave is like that (what i described above) but i think the majority of the people there ARE like that. but then again, i've only been to a few so what do i know? i'm just more of a club person...vip on that note:)

Def Sly....I'm more into clubs myself...classy or not. I mean Twilo when the big names came was casual dress. But there is a totally diff atmosphere at a club then at a rave. At least in NyC. I've been to a handful of raves and it just wasn't my deal. I think the saddest thing I saw was like a 13 yr old all kraked out. It's sad to see such young kids into such heavy stuff. I didn't even know what a rave was when I was 13. And some kids act all weird on the drugs...at one rave there was this gurl with a yellow glow stick and she was literally like attacking my ex with it. Her eyes were all bugged out and she was outta control. I dunno it has been my experience to see more of that behavior at raves then a clubs...though in some clubs in NyC outrageous amounts of drugs get consumed and people act kinda wacked as well..but not the the extent I have seen at raves..
***Just MY experience....hehehehe just for the record!! :D

Looking at that pic of tu-face and Rainbow brite makes me realize how uptight we are in North America.....Most of us I think would think they were a bit freaky and wierd amoung other things if we saw them dressed like that here...I dress in club clothes nothing too crazy but looking at them makes me wish that I could go over there and party with them...Not only to hear the killer tunes but to check out the different styles and attitudes........most of the euros on T.A I find to be much more tolerent and laid back with there opinions..

Must remember to bring a camera to next event.........:D :D :D :D

Anyways cheers..............

ok, im sorry twillo, i wasnt really judging u. no hard feelins? i admit i jumped the gun a bit here (which is bad), just becaues there seemed to be so much h8 towards candyravers lately and i hate for other peolpe to be judged on how they look or dress. seriously, the only thing i think you can say about candyravers is that they wear different clothes etc, because that is the whole basis for identifying them as candyravers. ive known many people that dress like that, and many that dont, and i dont see any significant different qualities or behaviour between these 2 groups besides appearance. thats my experience.
ps- im a lover not a fighter, so lets keep the peace and not start a big argument:cool:

I def luv Rainbow's look...a cute ass dress!! And I could deff see myself wearing something like that. And yeah cdn we are uptight...but I thik american culter on a whole is uptight...its that puritan influence from way back when. i mean even our public tv stations show less nudity then euro tv stations....hehehe i remember being shocked when i went over to the uk to see topless peeps on regular tv..lol even clubbing is more accepted over there....tel any person u go clubbing or raving who isnt into the scene already and they will look at you like you have three heads and are def addicted to drugs! I say bleh to that! hehehehe
and insomneac...no hard feelings here hun *hugz*!! I don't like to fight!! It's all good...just gotta clarify my statements to others if they seem to have taken them in a wrong manner!

MUAH!!! :stongue: hehehehehehe
