Sorry to break it to you, but I'm not the slightest bit jealous. I'd much rather live here than in the US. This is the kind of attitude that really pisses me off about (some) Americans. "Whoa, they're criticizing us, they must be jealous of us!' I'm sorry, but that's a load of crap.

You're an American. Enlighten me. Why on earth are they spending millions of dollars to 'investigate' the incident?
What are they planning to do, make the woman dis-robe and examine her breasts themselves?
Every woman has breasts. If you're really that paranoid about it, then don't go outside, because there's chance that you might see a women breast feeding a child. Now, as we all know, breasts are the work of the devil. Satan has infiltrated every woman in America and taken over there breasts. well considering the fact that the plaintiff is from Knoxville, one can only guess that she (or he) is in it for the money
But unlike most Americans i really don't understand the whole decency issue. Sure there are kids involved , but i think that the super bowl situation was handed very nicely (going straight out to darkness and then commercial) I mean c'mon don't think children all over America are cryin themselves to sleep over a booby shot.

I don't even live in the US, so I have absolutely no problems about what standards the puritans over there demand. But that still doesn't stop me posting about how stupid I think they are.
What if tomorrow they decided that bright coloured clothing is inappropriate for women on daytime tv and that they shouldn't wear skirts above their ankles, as these things set a bad example for young girls. Would you care?... By your logic no, because you can get all of that and much more on the internet. It's about principles and not letting the unbelievably ignorant, but loud minority (at least I hope they are the minority so for your sake) dictate what is or isn't right. |

If you noticed almost every American on here thinks it is no big deal. Its just the media doing what they do best. The militant parents get airtime on tv. I know a lot of parents from work who thought it was funny and were actually passing around photos at work.
If you guys from other countries came here and watched our news you'd understand why this is so blown out of proportion. |
