| Eric.. god i love you man! Anyways... i love your music so much, and i like a lot of the other music on TA. People try to manifest their own picture of what a song should sound like, almost without fail. I dont know many people that try to make music that they dont want to hear themselves. I dont see anything inherently wrong with trying to be apart of a particular "genre". So have at it and make whatever you enjoy making! Thats what i do. And by my estimations most of you do that. Everyone really does have their own sound... and thats the beauty of it. |

A note for whoever wrote something about me being a troll earlier- I don't really remember the context.. but I'm definitely Norwegian, so you nailed it.
Oh I think I think I remember.. something to the effect of me purposely trying to piss people off... That's ridiculous, I just wanted to make some forum friends, but it got hairy. : )

Seric, I'm sure you had some really valid points, but your argument was seriously undermined by your abysmal grammar and word usage. In a few years you might be a good writer (does Chuck Palahniuk use stilted, sophomoric arguments to get his point across? ;) ), but you're not presently. Next time you want to say something, please say it in a cohesive, articulate and non-hostile manner. As you get older you learn that clarity of message supercedes pedantic polemic. Take that Oscar Wilde! Nevertheless, after wading through your vague ranting, I did agree with some of what you said. So, thanks for contributing to TA in your own unique way. :)
And as far as rules being good or bad, I'm not even touching that one. |

Truthfully, I'm an obsessive-compulsive intravert who can't handle improper speech. So what I often do to convey a slightly less serious attitude is use satirical humor to cover up the way I prefer to speak. I wish that the internet had emotion. I assume that the whole reason this thread became so hostile was directly a result of my use of expletives in sublte, elisive sarcasm. I'm going to take your post under circumstance as a complete compliment. Grazie.
Another reason why using the F dash dash dash helps me is because of its incredible universality. I can f'ing say this and that and it's generally pretty f'ing proper. : )

On another note, come on people, we're takling about art here, why would anyone get infuriated about art? Try and pick up on some sarcasm.[Edit Deux: I enjoy overly articulate (well extravagant would be more fitting word) sarcasm as well. Where do I get off thinking people will understand my humor when they don't know my personality? : ) I feel that all of the chaos could be worth that one person who's ideas of humor align with mine.]
Although when people started being really hostile in return, I did do my share of feeding back into it. So I'm definitely apologetic about that |
