On this message board and others, there has been a lot of hostility and opposition to computer DJ-ing, :whip: and corresponding disinformation. That is probably why the MP3-only competition was started. Maybe someone who was around for the first competition would know.
Is there an open competition where people can use computers, CDs, or vinyl? |

there is no such competiton mainly cuz of the different classifications.
u can't have a race with F1 cars and stock cars racing together.. we know exactly who will win. Vinyl/CD DJs can enter this one as well but have to spin in MP3. |

Mp3 mixing competition started cuz some people wanted to enter the Battle of the mixers compet using mp3 mixing appz.
So we made it, and I think it was a great idea, we already heard some great mix in this competition, and it always was very fun. |
