For everyone talking about Mauro and saying you don't like his style... it's all good. You are entitled to your own opinion.

I'd hardly say we're talking .
But yes, thanks, we are entitled to our opinion. This is Canada, you know. :p

I was talking out of my ass for a bit there i must admit :(

sorry :(

but seriously everytime i've seen mauro, i've had an overall good time...

i am very critical of DJ's, their track selection, mixing skills, crowd interaction...

and even though mauro throws down some tracks that don't make sense and shouldn't be classified as music, i never let it bother me.

i've never been to an event and loved absolutely every track a DJ has dropped - but that doesn't mean i didnt have an overall god time...

SIDE NOTE:

i've noticed over the years, that we hear in toronto are so damn critical of mauro! maybe because he's visited here so often (6x i think)

we all loved him at first, then he came and played some incredible set ay system in 2000 and no one will let him live it down - it's as if seeing him that one time is what you expect him to live up to...

This is going to be quite the spectacle, and I won't be there. I'll have more fun listening to the reviews. I've been to Distrikt...the sound is nice, but that's not the point.

there's a style code, no jeans are allowed. so, with the kind of crowd that commands:

a. have fun partying with them to picotto?

b. lifting the style code for picotto? i would assume they'd have to, but that changes their image completely.

for some reason, i can't see this happening...they have 250 people in lineups at 11:30 with a packed club in the winter. why fix what isn't broken?

I'm just trying to defend Mauro :p

People either love his style, or they don't. I personally LOVE it! He never fails to amaze me. Everytime I've seen him, he plays banging tunes that makes me jump up and down and dance like a crazy maniac thought out his entire set! :D

hey, i'm a defender of the picotto as well....

but you can't tell me that when he plays stuff like LFO - Freak, it makes you jump up and down and dance... that track is so all over the place, i mean it's cool and all, but not the best to dance to, if you tried going to the beat of that track you'd likely hurt your elbow.

thats all i have to say about mauro, is some tracks are, meh... whats going on here?

Mauro nearly killed me last time he was here (in a bad way)...

I'm spening my energy w/ Jon O'Bir and Ferry.

Have fun @ Mauro. Lets hope he gives us the set we deserve.
