Marcus Schulz vs.....?
View this Thread in Original format

Is it me, I could Mr. Schulz take on a lot of the big boys out there and win, easy! Say the trancers like PvD or Ferry (who still have it in them, at times!)
Most of his sets are of more interest thats for sure. His Oceanlab remix is by far the best to.
Agree???
Lets hope we get more of him playing here in the UK. I know his down to play at GK next week.

I like Markus ALOT too but are you kidding me? Putting Markus in the same sentence with Paul or Ferry and saying that he is "easily" better is just a joke. Let Markus produce a classic track or release an album in the class of Out There And Back, then we can start a discusion about this. I mean all he really does is remix everyone elses great tracks (great remixs thO). This is just IMO
DeviantxPete
he's good, but not at that level

here's one :stongue:

Markus is a good DJ with a following yes, but he is not in the class of Ferry, PVD, Sasha, Armin, Tiesto and even guys like Eddie Halliwell, Marco V, BK, Tom Harding, Westbam and so many more

Why ? He's not fullen proven himself yet, that can only come in time if he manages to keep people interested for longer periods of time and if he innovates his sound & moves with the times, again that only comes with years of experience, which he doesn't have on the level of so many yet, as he is relatively unknown outside the internet & florida.

If he makes it is totally upto him and the dedication shown, but it's too early to compare him to anyone like that, he's not in the top 100 DJs yet for a reason, and he has to overcome that

Well, Shulz only compilation produced as of yet is American DJ 4:Phoenix which didnt really get noticed that much. His upcomming CD will probably be very good. I think its only production thats keeping him off being in the "Standards" of all the Djs mentioned above because in the decks, schulz is not to be underestimated. Hes got a nice track selection and flawless mixing which can compete with the high end mixologists. Its jsut a matter of time before he gets noticed, i think this year will be a very good one for him

I'd see marcus over PvD or Ferry in a second

is mixologist really an occupation?
like if i was filling out a form it said occupation i would write: mixologist

I think Markus Schulz vs. Jon O'Bir would be something great to hear/see.

Don't see him going up against PvD or Ferry...IMO
