| I know its been a couple days but ive been a busy mofo. TAI006 was incredible. Steve started the night out right with some nice mellow prog. Got a little harder at times, and threw in a few breaks.....great opener. Then Tommy came on. I was nervous for him since it was really his first night playing to a crowd, and with no moniter it was gonna be a little bit harder to mix. As soon as he got his first mix outta the way with no flaws, i could relax and get down to the beats he threw down for the remainder of his set. He really amazed me with his tight mixing, but even more with the overall flow of his set. After his set, i was still feeling the prog so i hit up the main room for a little dose of Luke. Nice tunes in there, and the sound seemed a little more crisp then last weekend. Came back in the VIP for Jer's set......wicked ass . Had me flying at a vicious pace (with the assistance of three Redbulls). The rest of the night is a little bit of a blur, but i couldnt forget about Desyn's set in the mainroom. I hope you guys caught some of this genious set. Wicked night, props to Emery for the lineup.....a lineup that had great flow from set to set, and also delivered a variety of music we have never experienced at an Invasion before. |
