What a good night :D
Wasn't really in the mood for going out last night, due to work calling me in the afternoon to try and weasel their way out of the Educational Assistance payments that they owe me. Was an overall bad day initially... BUT...
Was sooooooo good to see all the wonderful TA's and party it up to some good music. I caught the first four acts, and must say, all of you did extremely well, especially given the incomplete soundsystem situation you had to work with. No monitors in the booth, and the booth being a separate room in the wall made for a difficult job. Great work :D
One of the highlights of the evening: Deepgroove doing some tagteam mixing. Picture Ariel in the booth @ the controls, w/ Alex on the dancefloor in front. Now picture Alex making air traffic control motions to signal the mix into place. Then picture Alex doing some full-fledged classical music style conducting once things were rolling. BUAHAHAhaHAhahAhahhAhahaaa! I wish I had a pic of that. Pure jokes. You guys rock! :D
Again, great to see everyone, and meet some new people. Eric, we missed ya :) Emery... John... a job well done. As usual :D |

Im glad I made it out to this, Great to see everybody that was there. I'd start naming ppl but I know I'll forget somebody, so I'll just say it was great to see all of you! (Frank, SO SORRY ABOUT HERNAN! I'll make it up to you!) I cant wait for the pics! woohoo, here comes my new avatar!

| Glad I made it out to this one. All the DJs were awesome! Got that dose of techno that I so badly needed. Emery, good job with the lineup. Had to leave a bit earlier than usual because I was so exhausted from this horrible week I've been having. It was nice seeing the TOTAs out in full force and giving that dance floor a good pounding. I hope to see many of you at Boa for Satoshi Tomiie tonight. Until next time... take care people. |

what a fun night. I had a lot of wine and I'm feeling it today. I wish I could have stayed later to have heard all of the sets, but what I did hear was great-- especially given the absence of a monitor.
It was great to see everyone out- great to meet some new ppl as well. I think the front room is going to be fabulous when it's done- I'm very excited :)

great night.. actually my first time comming out to a ta invasion.. it was great to see alot of familiar faces again and meet new ones as well.
some banging techno by kevin earth and mr rogers, and WalterMindz you played some great trance..
and it was nice meeting you .. charmscars, lil kandy angel, mobius, sgt foo, resnick ... and anyone else i missed.. ill remember you next time i come out to toronto

unngghh, head hurting... went to bed too dehydrated...
was a great night overall, had a great bday celebration, I wish I coulda socialized with more TA's (but the usuals are always cool ;) ), BUT I was too inebriated to meet new people or make a fool out of myself (which I most likely did many a time last night)! Saw lots of familiar faces, and shoulda said many hellos, but I already brought too big a group of people myself and it was hard to talk to EVERYONE.
Music was good, although I really wish we woulda called this Techno Invasion, because a Trance Invasion woulda had MORE TRANCE!!!! Not that I mind the techno, but I can only take so much after a while :(
Two of the best sets though (that I was actually paying attention to) i think were done by the brothers, Kevin and Curt! You guys threw down some sick ass ! Especially Walter Mindz (cause he was the only trance dj there), duuuuuuuude, best tracks you played:
Inner & Outer - Reaching
Mandrake - Universal Soul (Digital Blonde remix)
and a few others, but those two MADE the night. thanx for a great time everyone, Az, Maxtuh, Endless wave (thanx for the beer), Kev, Curt, Nrg2nfint sorry we couldnt talk longer, next party for sure....
I'm too out of it, im goin back to bed...
