Some quality constructive remarks from yourself metro, you obviously don't want to join in what is going to be a large weekend. May I suggest you keep yourself and your massive negativity complex at home. You obviously have no intention of enjoying yourself if you were to come. :rolleyes: |

amusing ... since you know nothing about me. I was at LP last year; Vandit in december and february; miami in march. I may have picked up a few partying hints along the way ;-)
Don't get all shirty - like i *said*, sincerely - i hope you're right. my tickets are bought and i'll be going to Berlin for a good time that weekend, regardless.
However - German friends of mine that have been attending LP for many years are genuinely a bit worried that it's not just a stunt this year; and since i respect their judgment i take my cue from them, as they have more experience of LP.
PLUR a bit more kids, and don't jump on my back just because i expressed a view that there's the potential that things may be a little more problematic this year; doesn't mean i *want* them to work out that way. Sheesh. |

but you're missing the point - our point is that we don't particularly care if there's an official parade or not - cos regardless, there'll be a ton of stuff happening....we'll make our own fun!!!! as will most ppl in berlin that weekend, and as will all the djs i'm sure!!! i personally am excited at the thought of it.....back to the roots....bring it ooooooooooooon!!!!
but that's cool.....i'm sure u'll find things to do with ur buddies there.....cos i don't think negative ppl who can't use their initiative to make their own fun will be welcome at any TA meets :p |

There will be a Loveparade.
If the 'real' Loveparade will not take place, the Tiergarten will have an alternative demonstration organized by technofans.
So it's either a commercial Loveparade with trucks and party at the Siegessaule or a 'back to the roots' demonstration like Loveparade 1989 with music and small vans with soundsytems.
Both ways are fine by me since all Love Weekend parties have be confirmed :o |

| Hi Everyone I am still to book my Hotel. I know its late and I will probably end up sleeping on a park bench but what area of town should I be looking at getting my hotel to be nice and central to everything. Any area of town where we shouldn't stay? Cheers |

26-04-2004 -RUMOURS- It seems like there will be a Loveparade this year, officially or not. DJ Dean from the Tunnel Truck says he's positive about the event taking place. Ravers United on the other hand told they will drive a soundtruck throught the Tiergarten, regardless the result of the talks. Ravers from all over the world are announcing they are going to Berlin and will join the demonstration at the Siegessaule if the official Loveparade doesn't take place. Under the motto 'back to the roots' thousands of people are expected. |

Thanks for the map. I have found a few hotels near Kurfurstendamm is this reasonably close to all the activities/alright place to stay.
