i think his apology is geniune... but at the same time, i can't for the life of me figure out what he was trying to do on the ice that night... he was probably trying to goad moore into a fight, but i don't understand why he would tackle him like that after the punch. it's unfortunate how things turned out... i feel sorry for everyone involved...
on another note, i can't see why all the anti-fighting camp has come out of the woodwork crying "see! i told ya!"... this was just pure goonery, marty mcsorley style... fighting is part of the game, this is not... if anything, a few good scraps the game before might've evened up the score and prevented this whole fiasco. fighting in hockey doesn't cause stuff like this... there are plenty of stick-swingers and cheap shot-ers who don't fight at all... |

that's a very good choice but I say this now;
Portugal will win. I don't personally like portugal but... they have the most potential. I'll be cheering for netherlands either way...

I'm not following this stuff much, but what makes me sick is how Moore was unconscious before he even hit the ice...
It's sad that this is now part of our nation's favorite pastime...sad to think that our children are watching these players, looking up to them and this is what they see.
My brother is 10, I have yet to ask him what he thinks about this... |

| Fighting is not the part of the game IMO. Handling puck, skating, checking - that's all part of the game. But fighting? C'mon, that has nothing to do with the game. Well, I kinda have russian outlook on hockey, so... It's just funny to see how some people come out to watch hockey, and u see them sleepign thru out the whole game, but when a fight starts all of a sudden they wake up :haha: |

lemme ask y'all this, what gives hockey players the right to fight and not me against my enemy??? Why because its part of a sport, maybe i should create a sport called *whatever any name*!! Can't i use this argument in court?? I get charged for self defense or get charged for not controlling my anger yet the nhl lets fighting stand???
Why apologize for what u did, if u did not intend on hurting him that bad, then why did u sucker punch him??? If i wanted to get you, why would i end up apologizing for what i wanted to do??
